Half of the greens were in somewhat acceptable condition but the remainder were in terrible shape despite plenty of rain in this area recently.

Fairway grass was really long. Hitting from some fairways was like hitting from the rough. The actual rough grass was very wirey.

The bunkers were unkept and directly around the bunkers was very overgrown. Lost a lot of balls during the round which didn’t correctly reflect my quality of play. I do wish the course greenskeepers well and hope that they will be given more funds to be able to correct this course. Thanks you for listening.

The course is in very rough condition. They’re very upfront about the greens but the fairways are at masters’ level rough length. When it’s upkept it’s a good public course, but it’s far from being taken care of at the moment. Call before booking

Absolute worst golf course I’ve ever been to, I’ve tried going back multiple times thinking Mybee it would get better and it somehow gets worse. The staff is very friendly and nice and it’s not there fault the course is owned by caln township and they don’t care about it. People need to stop playing there in order for the township to actually want to start making it a playable course again

This course should be shut down. Worst conditions I have ever experienced in more than 400 rounds of golf which includes playing courses (Loch Nairn, FDR and Karakung) that were planning on closing at the end of their respective seasons.

Other than the greens on numbers 11 and 12, the rest of them were total disasters. They literally dumped piles of sand on number 4's "green" and then used hand rakes in a feeble attempt to spread it around the muddy, weed-infested, diseased greens, while leaving several clumps/mounds of sand in several areas. Horrific!

You could easily lose your golf balls even if you were in the middle of the fairway because the grass was so high. No differentiation between the roughs and the fairways. In fact on several fringes of the greens, the grass was 8 to 10 inches tall. See my pictures and videos down below.

It is sad to see a fun tract be totally decimated. I will give it at least a full year or more before going back. However, I will monitor these reviews before wasting my time and money on such DEPLORABLE conditions.

There’s not much to say other than they shouldn’t be charging more than $20 to get out and see the course. Upon getting to the practice green and seeing how shaggy it was, I was thinking to myself ok, prepare for some unmanicured greens. No biggie. Fast forward to the first “green” (using the term loosely) and notice that there were only patches of green and the rest was either sand or just dry mud. Laughable but play on and saw a few holes with grass. Finally got to hole 6 and officially found a green that had literally solid dirt with a few sprigs of crab grass. For $50 a round, to not even mention that they were having course maintenance issues when you check in and to assume everyone would be ok with it is ridiculous. Carts were broken down and left on the course. The rough was grown to 10+” in some spots, it was near impossible to decipher fairway from rough, but the greens were just insane. Like nothing I’ve ever seen before. Should have read reviews before booking. It was a little rough last year when I played, but this place looks like it’s closing tomorrow and they’re trying to squeeze every Penny out of it.

Check-in was quick, staff was friendly and helpful to us who had never played here before. The layout is short but generally varied and interesting, but those are the last good things I can say.

I can only imagine what a gem this must have been before the greens died out, the bunkers were neglected and the rough was so long that it waved in the breeze. Half of most greens were black hard-scrabble, and what hadn’t died off was like putting on a shag rug, so you needed to account for two different speeds on almost every putt.

First and last time playing this tarnished gem! I know everyone has differing standards regarding course conditions, so I don’t review courses; this was a first in over a dozen years of GolfNow courses. This course would still be Over-priced at half of the going rate.

Course may have once been good however the course is now a complete disaster. It’s not mowed, almost all the greens are completely dead with weeds and muddy. Putting isn’t possible.

The new Greens Keeper need to be fired for what she’s done to this place! Absolutely unplayable! 😡

this place should not even be able to be considered a golf course. i payed over $45 and it was not maintained AT ALL. The greens had full dirt patched everywhere, they were so dry i could see cracks in the greens. the fairways and greensides were basically just weeds and when i hit my ball in the fairway i couldn’t find it sometimes since it was so thick and not taken care of. The tee boxes were so uneven and were mainly just super hard dirt and sand, with very little grass. This course was pathetic

The course is in TERRIBLE condition. The tee boxes are half dirt. The greens are awful. I should have asked about the conditions in the pro shop.

I’ve played this course now for three years. Either the owner is getting ready to sell to a developer or doesn’t care anymore. The greens are compacted dirt with no grass. The fairways are the same as the rough leading up to the greens. I always liked playing this course to work on shots but it’s getting to the point where it’s not even worth the practice round. Sad to see a fun course turn into this.

I grew up playing $10 municipal courses and army post tracks so I understand that not all courses will be manicured paradises. Ingleside looks like an abandoned golf course. The conditions were so bad that I stopped after gutting out 12 holes. It just wasn't worth it any more. I lost balls in the fairway because there are random areas with 12 inch grass. The bunkers are just dirt holes surrounded by 2 foot tall grass. Most of the greens are 70% dirt, and the rest is unputtable nonsense. It's impossible to find a level area on any tee box. The lack of maintenance is beyond any low cost course I have ever played. I went in expecting and even looking forward to some challenges with the conditions, but it was like trying to play golf in a hay field filled with rocks. The staff was courteous and helpful. I'm sure it's difficult to compete with other courses in the area, but the conditions point to negligence. I will not be going back.

Greens are literally brown. Course is completely unplayable should be charging $20 a round for conditions like this.

I’ve played a few rounds at Ingleside and considered it pretty decent and the price matched the conditions. Now it’s buried 6ft under and still taking your money.

This maybe the worst course I have ever played. Should be worth no more than $20. $56 is a ripoff. Conditions were horrible.

I wouldn’t walk my dog over this grass, let alone play here ever again. It’s offensively bad for a place that charges around $50 on weekends.

Brutal carts, awful greens (would rather put on greens that were punched yesterday at a real course). The only thought I keep returning to is I never want to see this place ever again and it was truly offensive. See image attacked of what this place calls a green in peak season.

Save yourself the time and money unless you want to skip the range and just hit balls on “real” grass.
