Foster Country Club

Course was in good condition. No complaints about greens, tee boxes, or fairways. It was my first time playing which made it more difficult, there are a good amount of dog leg holes and you may have to take a few blind shots. I would play the course again though.

Except for the last 5 holes when the group in front of us went to a crawl the day was excellent. Then we went to the restaurant for food and drinks and the food was very good but the bartender (laura) was excellent. Played with my son and a third, new person that was paired with us, and we met a new friend. Course greens were actually slow greens were thick which is not usual for this course. Would do this again!!

The course is fine maybe a little burnt up in the ruff in some spots.. Greens are getting a lot of play and maybe could be better .. But all in all I got a deal off golf now and paid 20$ for 18 w cart so I was very satisfied

This was my first Golfnow.com purchase. This course is one of my favorites in RI. Always in good shape through out the season. Food is awesome. It was great to play it for less than normal price. Great deal!

I love this place. Might even join this fall. Challenging back 9 solild front. Really enjoyed the day.

Great course, challenging holes! Finished in just over 4 1/2 hours. For the Monday after the holiday weekend we found that the course was packed with golfers. Maybe it was just a flukey kind of thing that it was so busy, but there was a lot of bottlenecking that extended our day on the course. Fun Par3s and challenging 4s and 5s. I would recommend Fostet CC to any player regardless of skill!

An interesting course with a mix of challenging and fairly easy holes. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Greens slow and bumpy.....not as good as many other places this time of year.

We got a very good price on Golf Now. Staff was friendly and let us tee off early. We traveled almost an hour to get there. I don't know if I'd do that again, but it's worth a trip for those living closer.

This is a short course, however, it is very challenging. The front nine is more kind than the back nine. Many blind shots into greens which makes it especially challenging. Greens were in great condition and receptive to shotmakers. Loved the course and would definitely recommend it to those that haven't played this course.

The course was in good condition. The only negative was that play was extremely slow. We had to wait quite a while at each hole to tee off.

This is a nice well kept course in western RI.
There are several holes where you will not use driver off tee but you will be challenged on approach shots. Overall a great golfing experience.
Only negative would be pace of play, but not unexpected with "walkers" allowed.

Saff were exceptional, greens played fast,great shape on a suberb 78 degree day, A few holes were tricky but fun. We will be back soon !!

Excellent Condition, Great Layout for the intermediate and advanced Golfer, Probably wouldn't play 18 on a real hot day, not much shade.

Played 18 with a cart for 18 bucks (22 after taxes) but unbeatable deal. I have played this course 2 or three times before, conditions were good and consistant. Greens were real slow but for the price I can't complain. Pace was a little slow but overall good course great deal from golf now

As a high handicapper, found the course to be quite a challenge but loved it anyway. Played it because I found a great deal on Golf Now. Otherwise might not play it (fixed income). Will keep an eye open for another value and can't wait to play it again.

My first impression of this course was WOW, what a beautifully maintained course. It proved to be such with ground maintenance closing off wet areas from cart traffic to preserve the quality of this course. It is challenging but not too difficult. I will return.

Good course with challenging layout. For this early into season seems like they are ahead of schedule with course maintenance. Greens were true and fairways very receptive. Some holes a little wet but that could be expected. Like what they did to restaurant and head chef knows his stuff, great food and a good menu.

I've played at Foster several times over the years and always enjoyed myself. The layout is a mix of straight holes and more interesting holes. Almost no bunkers on the course which is probably what makes the course rating stay a little below average difficulty. The staff is friendly and the food at the restaurant is good. We played in a drizzle on Saturday with the course all to ourselves. Greens were aerated but must have been a few weeks ago as greens rolled true with very little impact from aeration holes. Nice course. We'll be playing there again.
