Valley Country Club

The course was nice. All the greens were great but some of the fairways are in need of repair. Overall, the experience was great and I would recommend it!

We had a foursome that played on a Sunday afternoon and November the course was not that busy and we played at a steady pace the greens and tee boxes were in great shape some of the fairways we're browned out still from the summer. The course has an interesting layout and a good variety there are a couple of pie five's that are over 550 yards we had a good afternoon and would play again

For November the course was in excellent shape. The tees and greens were in awesome shape. Fairways had a few rough patches. Rough was thick but fair. The only issue we had was the pace of play. We arrived at 9:55 for our 10:24 tee time. No one was on the tee nor tees off while we were there. We played the front 9 fairly fast, even though we caught a group at 8. We played the back 9 very slow because of that. Unfortunately that was the only downfall of the course. Will be very happy to go back .

I’ve played here before and I like this course. First time I’ve played in a year. Course fairways were in bad shape on the back nine. Due to great weather course was booked. Pace of play was ok but only got in 15 holes due to darkness. Food and drinks afterwards were good quality and reasonably priced.

The greens are the protection on this course and were in good shape, the fairways on the other hand were hard to find grass to hit from, short layout but fun, needs the fairways to come back amd the rating would be higher

Having never played Valley I was eager to see the course . I was initially excited that I would have that opportunity through golfnow . The tee boxes and greens were pristine . The fairways however were abysmal . They were burnt severly , brown and left for miserable lies . For a private club one would expect better . Greens fees were $90 per player , considering the course conditions I was not happy.

For a “private” course the absolute worst fairways I’ve ever played.

I wish I had taken pictures. The worst condition I've ever seen a golf course ever. I was so disappointed because I grew up playing here in high school- it was my home team course. My father and brother had been members in the past. Needless to say I've played here many times, but hadn't in a while. I just assumed that the conditions would be somewhat comparable. I understand that there has been a drought and that golf courses are suffering because of it, BUT HAVE FAIR PRICING. this was literally a price gouge almost double the actual value of what they were charging. Save your money people. Seriously. This course is in worse shape than Goddard Park.

This is a very nice track but unfortunately they had serious water issues as the fairways were mostly dirt. The positive was that they did the smart thing and used whatever water they had to keep the greens and tee boxes in really good shape which makes the course playable, just not nearly worth what is being charged. I would definitely come back if the fairways issue was resolved, but not until. Lastly, gentleman in pro shop was extremely personable and got me out early with a great group which also helped soften the blow.

Drove an hour from Boston because of the one great review of this course on Golfnow. I played with another golfer who decided to pay the $90 for the private course experience on a Friday afternoon. The greens are excellent but the rest of the course is horrible. It is like they have not watered the fairways in weeks. We both decided to leave and go play another course after 6 holes. We both decided that we would count it as a lesson learned.

Best value Country Club in the state ! The layout is always challenging no matter how many times you play it !!
