Start of season
Course is nice .. it’s the start of the season , but the course was still in decent shape .. a nice wide open travk
Greens were pretty nice
Tee need help
Fairways were decent
Some challenging tee shots
Course in terrible condition
This course was the worse golf course I’ve ever played, period- anywhere in the world. No pride of ownership.
Solid public course
Staff is friendly and facilities at LL are great value for $$. Always open for play and accommodating for both new and experienced golfers.
Fun course with friendly staff
First-time playing here and was welcomed by the friendly staff. The course was in great condition and the pace was perfect. Played 18 in less than 4 hours. Cannot wait to return in the Fall with the foliage picturesque recommended by the regular players.
Good round,
Good round, leagues were quite abundant on a Friday afternoon. Good fairways, greens were a bit bumpy and slow, other wise in good shape.
slow play
I was told there was a ranger on the course but i never saw one. The group in front of us had 5 players so obviously it was extremely slow.
Im only being honest
It was just..... bad. No cart path.... bouncing around on roots ....spilling my drank! No score card or hole layout....for me anyway. Not that it would really matter because the course layout is preposterous. Its so tight and just.... ridiculous. I was honestly shocked. But. This only pertains to the course itself. Everyone That i encountered was very.... very polite and warm and welcoming. That was the good part. But for a guy that was really looking forward to enjoying a nice... new couse. I was disappointed. Sorry.... but it was not enjoyable golf. That's just my own experience tho.
Fun course
Played this course while visiting Newport. Course was in great shape for late April. Greens were tricky, fairways spacious. It’s a fun course!
Pace of play
The course was great, but the pace of play was very slow. Having a few marshals out on the course would help things move along.
Early Spring Golf
The course was in pretty good shape considering how early in the season it is. The bunkers had decent sand. The clubhouse restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.
