Great course that's close to Nashville
GreyStone Golf Club in Dickson, TN is worth the short drive from Nashville, TN if you're looking for a first class golf experience that won't break the bank. Hats off to Charlie Blunt and the rest of the crew at GreyStone Golf Club for an excellent golf experience. For a beginner, this is a very challenging course, but the conditions and staff friendliness made it a very enjoyable experience. The course is in outstanding shape right now and the layout and design elements are top notch. Only complaint was that the grass on the tee boxes was pretty high which made tee shots a bit more challenging than normal. Great driving range and practice area. If you live within an hour of GreyStone Golf Club you should definitely play it!
A gym west of Nashville
Great layout with zoysia faresys. Fast generous greens receptive for well hit irons. The best public course in the Nashville area
Always a pleasure to play Greystone
As I said, Greystone is always fun to play. Certain holes are very unique, for example number 12, which I call Stonehenge because of its precariously [laced boulders. It is a blind par five where you can easily birdie or one of those dreaded others. The only complaint is that the range balls used to be complimentary, but it's only five bucks-- no biggie.
Great this time of year
Course was in great shape! Greens were smooth and fast, tee boxes not too bad. They were RE-doing all the bunkers and sand was silky smooth
Very wet and windy. I enjoyed it but had a difficult time finding a good stance or lie even in the fairway

We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting Greystone Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
Great course but slow
Love the course but it tends to play slow most of the time.
Very friendly
The staff was so friendly and helpfull. Greens for december where very good. the back nine were so much fun (challenging layout).
Great experience
Played it in late December. Bermuda grass is all dead but I could tell it was in great condition during the summer. Greens were slower than normal due to winter season but in good shape. Love to come play it in the summer.
The play to play at a public course in middle Tennessee
Greystone is a wonderful golf course. Up and down, blind holes, water, sand, tee to green, you name it.
Either front or back nine is great. This would be a great course for the PGA tour. I would love to watch pros lose a ball in the water, or the deep rough. Or have one bounce off the various rock formations that are on numerous holes.
The clubhouse (on the hill above #9) is magnificent. Great views and food.
If you are in the Nashville area, Greystone is worth playing.
Best Value and experience of golf in Middle Tennessee
Zoysia fairways and tees are perfect. Bent grass greens are a real treat. Food and beverage is great value as well.
Nice course
Second time I played this course. Nice layout with two distinct different feelings for each nine. For this time of year, greens were in great shape and dormant fairways were still in good condition. Highly recommend as a must play course.
Rough spots
Great layout, decent greens but tough course to play ball down with some rough areas that need attention. Will try again in season to see if conditions are improved.

Great Course and Staff
I have played Greystone several times. The staff is professional and very helpful. The course is always in great shape except for the bunkers. There is not enough sand in the bunkers and at times you need to take a drop due to the fabric being exposed.

Hello. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. We would love to know how we can earn those last two stars next time! Thanks for playing Greystone Golf Club.
