About
Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

Nice course!
First off pace of ply was the best! Didn’t wait at a single tee box. Course was in excellent shape. I will be booking again in the future!!
Friendly staff and good course conditions
The staff was very friendly and the course was in good shape. The only knock is it was hard to find our way because of the lack of signs. The cart did have GPS so that was a plus. I would play this course again.

The previous signs had our old logo, and several were starting to rot, so we went ahead and removed them. We have placed temporary numbers on the posts, but we do understand they aren't easy to see.

Twelve stones
The course was overall in decent shape. The greens need to be worked on. Too many bare spots that made putting very hard. The tee boxes are being worked on so that will be good in the future. Number 5 and 13 holes are still a mess from the sledding over last winter. For the money this course brings in, I would have expected better conditions.

Needs work
Fairways damaged from winter sledding incidents. Tee boxes hard and little grass. This course needs work!

Pace of play was slow. No marshall. Tee boxes are rough. Practice areas are nice. Not ideal for long hitters as lots of creeks at around 250-270 so can’t hit driver. At the right price it’s worth playing.

Water jugs not filled
95 degrees outside and water jugs weren’t filled ever though I asked the guy in the clubhouse as did my playing partners. Good thing there was a nice cart girl going around so I could but 6 Powerades at $3 a pop.

Dry fairways, sanded greens
A very nice, challenging layout, but rough around the edges. Typical of a formerly private course that has gone public, not enough money to maintain properly.
