Twelve Stones Golf Club (formerly known as Twelve Stones Crossing) sprawls across rolling hills, making the golf course known for its dramatic elevation changes. An even lie will be hard to find and golfers will also have a few blind shots in store for them. The undulating terrain makes for some difficult holes but it serves another, more player-friendly purpose of providing scenic respite with idyllic views of the surrounding countryside. The greens are lightning fast, but they roll true and there is rough bordering the well-manicured fairways. There are also several bunkers strategically placed throughout. It is a golf course that is challenging but still fun to play, a statement that holds true for a wide range of skill levels. Given the versatile design and affordable rates, Twelve Stones Golf Club is a popular venue for tournaments and outings.

I've played this course several times over the last 5 years and they have continued to improve that entire time. New greens are better now than the old grass at this time of year. Another growing season and they should be noticeably better.

Pace of play was terrible. Multiple groups on every tee box. 5 1/2 hour crawl. No Marshall or anyone from the pro shop on the golf course to even try to keep pace of play going. The only employee of Twelve Stones on the golf course was a cart girl.

Save your money!!!

This course was $40 course a few months ago. They added Bermuda greens and all of a sudden they charge like it's Augusta National. Well, it ain't!!! The greens were fine before. How about fixing the horrible crooked and bare tee boxes and grow some grass in the fairways. People are sick and tired of having a tight lie on every shot. The only repeat customers are out of towners and members. I've been playing this course forn15 yrs, but as Roberto Duran once said...."No Mas".

This course

I love this course, always a challenge to play. I only have two issues with this course. 1.) I wish that they had more water stations throughout the course, I mean TN in July is hot as heck and water is hard to come by I think there were only two water coolers on the course both empty. 2.) the carts are new but the boundaries they set in the computer make them a nightmare to drive and they are slow as heck

Decent course ridiculous price

This course is fun to play but there are two holes that you essentially have to skip because they are unplayable one is up a almost vertical hill that makes no sense and another has sledding marks all the way through the fairway. 85 dollars is an outrageous price and I don’t understand how these courses can justify charging people this much

Excellent value

Greens were in really good condition. Firm and fair. Rough was deep but playable. Ball could get lost in the deep grass if you don’t pay attention. We did not lose any to the rough but found a handful of extras. Only complaint I could have is some of the tee boxes were not very good, uneven, with a lot of sand, even teed up outside the markers a couple of times. But for the price it’s might be the best in the area.
