Great value
Course was in great shape with many challenging shots. Greens had been sanded so they were firm.
Staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful, great customer service. If you need something (food) they bring it to you since you do not return to the club house till 14.
Great value, bet you can’t find another course like it. Pace of play was a snail pace. Was Saturday and there were some hackers tying things up. Several-blind T shots which makes for dangerous conditions since there are no bells. If the pace was better that would not have mattered. Will be back.
First TIme
This is the first time I've golfed Nashville National. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly and the course was in excellent shape. Some tricky layouts, but the key is to keep it in the short grass. Sounds like common sense, but the rough is very unforgiving and if you try to make more out of it, good luck. I enjoyed the round and will definitely be back.
a must play course
a fun course course to play if you are near it.3 or 4 green had a few bad places on them the rest was is good shape the fairway and rough was cut good the sandtrap could use some work and sand a good place will be back keep up the good work
From what I’ve beard this course has made tremendous changes
I enjoyed this course a lot and I shot horrible so that should say something. Very challenging to say the least. Hard pin placements. I will defy e back and try to beat the course this time instead of it beating me. Staff was phenomenal. No complaints other than maybe the pace of play which was a little slow IMO. Will def be back
Excellent Value
Course is very fair, ideal for us weekend warriors with an average game. GPS on the carts was a pleasant surprise.
Staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
A couple of greens need some attention but overall the course and it’s unique layout very enjoyable.
I will definitely be back.
Solid Course for the price
Overall this course was very enjoyable. Greens we in good shape with the exception of one hole that had flooding issues earlier in the year. Fairways were in great shape. Great layout and fun course for the $35 rate. I will be back!
Great Experience
Great golf track, loved the way the course was cut out through the tree lined terrain that rewarded good golf shots. Not very long course from tee to green, but the way the holes were cut it had its challenges.
Small clubhouse, but very nice and clean. The people working the course were very nice and friendly... Very welcoming and accommodating. Great experience! I was visiting the area from out of town, but if I were to visit again or were to move here I would play here all the time.
The course is getting back to its original sharp. The bunkers could use some new sand which I saw a big pile of so hopefully they will be putting it in soon.
Good course
The greens were not in the best shape but were playable. Too many storms withtoo much rain had the sand in bad shape. Fairways were in great shape. Fun course. I will be back!
Has improved greatly
I played this course a year ago and the greens were in bad shape. Fast forward a year and the greens are in much better condition. The layout is great. The course is challenging. The staff is excellent. If you dont play here you are missing out.
Glad it’s back
First time playing in a couple years and was glad i came back to check the place out. Absolutely amazing track, the views and feature make for a beautiful and challenging golf course. Had a good talk with the owner, and was pleased to hear he has some ambitious plans for improving and changing the layout of the course! The conditions aren’t perfect- the greens are a little bumpy in spots, but i was still able to make some long putts so it won’t ruin your day. Tees and fairways were in pretty good shape and i had good lies all day. Well worth the 20 minute drive from downtown!
Great course
I’ve been going to this course for about three years now and absolutely love it. The course is looking great. New owner is working very hard to improve the place and it shows.
Favorite course in Nashville!
The course is super fun! Plus the carts having GPS and Bluetooth Speakers makes it just that much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!
Worst Greens In Mid-Tennessee
After playing this course this past Saturday I can tell you that I will not be back after I have confirmation that they actually have playable greens. I understand that courses go through maintenance and sometimes things need repair but 15 out of 18 greens were in horrific shape and unplayable. The thing that really bugs me is that this information was not brought to our attention when we made the tee time, and we still paid full price. There was also no beverage/snack cart on a Saturday morning which is important at this course since you don't return to the club house until after the 14th hole.
Fairways and Greens beautiful
If you have not played Highland Rim(Thru the Green) lately you will be surprised at how beautiful the fairways and greens have become..you will not be disappointed..also a caring and courteous staff..
Wow used to go here a couple of years ago and it was great. Now, What a shame the new owners not only have they let it go but the greens are so bad it's almost as if they try to make them dried out cracked and dead and actually have weeds on the greens. It's as if they want them to die out. what a shame this course is in such a beautiful location.
