Use to be great
Greens were in decent shape but the fairways were in rough condition. Pace of play was awful and people just going out whenever they wanted.
Would be a great course but zero ground maintenance
New to nashville and was looking for a course to play last minute. Didn’t expect TPC level but I was super disappointed that there wasn’t really any fairway and it was just weeds. All traps just overground with gas and minimal work on greens.
So bummed because the payout is killer!!! Vertical climbs and drops and awesome. Art path trip on the back 9. Really hope there’s an injection of funding bc this can be an amazing course.
Good value for the area. Staff was nice so could come back again but not a primary location.
An enjoyable course
I had a good time playing here. Some of the fairways were a bit ragged, but the greens were in good shape and the pace of play was good. The course layout was a bit confusing.
Great for practice.
I enjoyed my round, I knew what I was signing up for based on previous reviews. The layout of the course is pretty cool, beautiful nature surrounding the course. Course conditions were poor overall. My goal was to play solo and hit a lot of shots with new clubs. Extreme downhill elevation changes on part 3’s, that’s cool. For $40, it’s a great place to hit a bunch of fun shots but no real point to keep score. A lot of opportunity to work the ball right and left, uphill and downhill. I would not play this course with friends with the intent to keep score. The back nine is much better than the front. Most holes are driver, wedge on the par 4’s and extremely short par 5’s. I would go again with the intent to play early and hit a variety of Tee to Green shots.
Mixed bag
1. Interesting Layout.
2. Great potential for low round.
3. No Fairways- just weeds, prairie and slightly shorter grass.
4. Aerated greens :-(
5. Basically need a background check to use cart.
6. I wouldn’t pay more than $30 to golf it again.
Ok for the orice
Nice layout; could be much better with better maintenance. Staff was very nice.
Don’t waste your time!
We get to course early and check-in took 15 minutes. You have to sign waivers to play on course and give them your license to drive a cart and a credit card! Tee boxes are horrible, bring your hammer! Fairways are horrible, you can’t tell fairways from rough. Green as well are in horrible condition! Dont waste your time or money on this course!
Awesome place
I'll preface that its not perfect. Early in the year still, the greens weren't in the best shape, and the carts have some gps bugs so they will randomly yell at you every now and then.
All things considered, it's SUPER fun. Several drivable par 4s for all you 300 plus carriers out there. The back 9 is a whole nature ride up and down cart paths that are surrounded by woods, ponds, nice houses and wildlife. It's just a really cool course all around. On weekends you do have to pay full price for a rider if you have a child or SO to bring, but that's not uncommon in the area. This is my favorite course I've played yet out of 6 in the Nashville area. highly recomend.
Needs tidying up
Nice layout but desperately in need of TLC. Staff was very nice, course has high potential. More than payable, additional care of the fairways and in particular, the greens, would GREATly improve the experience.
Not Spending the $$ on the course
This course has so much protential. You pay $60+ dollars to play 18 holes and you wonder what they are doing with the money? This location is great. The layout is fun. But dang it’s not in very good shape. Some greens you just wanna pick up and move on. There are some holes in decent shape. But for the price it should be in a lot better condition. I’ve played here 4 times during different parts of the year and it’s always been the same. I’ve never seen anyone working on the course either. I’ve Also never seen a beverage cart. The clubhouse is empty. And there is almost no merchandise in there either. I think they are missing a great opportunity here to make this an amazing course and golf experience all around. I know they have $$ coming in because of what it costs to play here and how many people opt in to play here because other courses are full already and people just want to play somewhere. There are some beautiful (and dangerous) landscapes at this course and that is nice. I see so much potential wasted here. I hope they sell it or do better is all because it could be a landmark club and course.
Lovely course
Love this course, just wish it was closer to the city due to the traffic always on I-24. Greens looking better than last year already and the season just started, so can’t wait to see how they look in a few weeks!
Such a lovely setting...
I have played Pebble Brook several times and it is such a lovely setting with truly unique holes. Unfortunately the condition of the course is atrocious, with fairways that are at.most times indistinguishable from the surrounding terrain and greens that are coming apart... I am not sure who owns this course but it needs significant work. It could be a jewel...
Could be good again..
Not a lot of care, greens had debris all over.Dint think there are very many workers. Over priced for the condition of the course. No senior rate. The course use to be really nice back in the day and could be that way again where everyone wanted to make sure they played it.. Maybe do affordable membership to generate more cash flow to improve course.
Unique and fun course
This course has a very unique layout and is fun to play. Hole 5 is picturesque and the back 9 feels like it goes to a different county and comes back with some of the distances between green and the next tee. The greens had some disease and did dig holes (maybe from squirrels) that prevented me from giving it 5 stars but still a course you need to experience.
I had high hopes for this course after how great of shape it was in last spring, but unfortunately it’s taken a step back. Most of the tee boxes and greens are in rough condition, and while the fairways are decent, there’s clearly been a lack of consistent maintenance.
At the current price point, it just doesn’t feel like a good value for what you’re getting.
They also installed GPS in the carts last year, but it seems overly sensitive. There were multiple instances where I was parked on the cart path preparing for a shot, and the alarm still went off as if I was in a restricted area.
I’m hopeful management takes note of the feedback—either by improving course conditions or adjusting pricing to better reflect the current experience
Greens still terrible.
I know it’s winter but these greens were in bad bad shape. Fuzzy, slow, unmanaged, just bad. And hey if it cost 20$ to play there then whatever, but it doesn’t. For what pebble brook cost you would expect a much nicer course. I’ve paid 45$ to play at places that were much much nicer. It’s a shame because it’s a really cool layout and some unique par 3 holes but you definitely don’t get your moneys worth. I wish someone would take over this place and get it back to its former glory.
Great layout, terrible conditions
You have to get lucky to make a putt. Fairways have grass in about half the places they should. Greens are so hairy and absolutely destroyed. Need Thor's hammer to get a putt to the hole and a miracle for them to bounce in the right direction to go in.
Fun course
Lots of hills but a fun course. Greens were rough but it was also December when we played so it is what it is. Staff was friendly. Would definitely play here again.
