Fun course
Lots of hills but a fun course. Greens were rough but it was also December when we played so it is what it is. Staff was friendly. Would definitely play here again.
My favorite course, but it’s not perfect
Moved to Nashville about a year ago now and I’ve tried most public courses in the area. It’s my personal favorite because of the layout and the different areas of the course. Very fun to ride the cart on, but has some sketchy parts of the cart path. A couple of the tee boxes are too hard (10) and the greens have definitely been seeing play, but it’s October so it’s hard to expect perfection after the year of weather and play we’ve had. My only gripe is the prices just got raised and that’s made me not able to bring the wife with anymore unless it’s a special occasion because it’s getting too expensive.
Very difficult trying to get a tee in the ground. I understand dry conditions, but would be nice to pour water on the tee boxes. Greens were patchy with bare dirt spots.
Not worth it
The course is not in good shape. The staff was very friendly and kind. The course was in a beautiful area however, the greens were dead and there was very little fairway. It was comparable to hitting off of a dirt road. My ball rolled forever so that made me feel good until I got to it and had to move it every time just to find a small patch of grass to hit from. There is so much potential here but save your money and your clubs and go elsewhere.
Can do better in Nashville.
Absolutely not worth $65. The fairways aye in good shape but the tee boxes are similar to hitting out of rough. The greens are borderline unplayable on most holes, covered in divots and dirt/sand splotches. The 13th and 15th holes are in surprisingly good shape compared to the rest I will say. Also, note about 75% of your tee shots are blind. Most importantly, there are NO water coolers on the course, in 96 degree weather in the middle of August. The course has potential, but needs lots of work and they seem reluctant to do so.
Decent overall experience, but…
Between the tee boxes and greens (the fairways), the course is in pretty good shape! However, a handful of the greens are in rough shape along with a number of tee boxes being REALLY dry, worn, and hard with some making it extremely difficult to put a tee in the ground!
Fun course, but needs work
This is actually a pretty fun little course. Reading the reviews I was expecting worse to be honest. The greens are in pretty rough shape and the tee boxes are as well. Good luck sticking a tee in the ground. If you can find a nice patch of grass on the tee box you’ll be fine. There are some REALLY steep slopes to get to the next holes and the carts are gas, which is why they make you sign a waiver. The signage of where to go to get to the next tee box on some holes needs some work as some areas have zero signs telling you where to go. None of this is a big deal really as the scenery and some of the holes are actually a lot of fun to play. High elevated tees to some par 3’s and some fun blind tee shots make for some challenges and laughs.
I’ll be playing this course again, but there does need to be some attention paid to the greens and tee boxes.
Enough w/ ear piercing horns on carts
Most ignorant policy we've seen for bullying golfers. Other courses have tried similar idiotic things like this (ie cart motor goes dead) only thing this accomplishes is losing customers and makes the bad ones even more mad !! Find another way to mitigate bad toxic golfers without punishing the courteous good paying ones. Ask around to other course managers for good ideas to address matters. Won't be returning until confirmation (in writing b/c my hearing is now gone.lol) its been changed !!
Cheap, Great layout, friendly people
Absolutely love this course usually play once a week at least. The course/ greens are in the best condition they have been in a while. Still some bare patches but overall pretty good for the price, and I love the style of the course with the elevated tee boxes! The staff is always so friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy being there! For 43$ there’s no where else I’d rather play!
Course need maintenance
Course layout was good. Greens and tee box’s were in rough shape. Had to sign a waiver for cart use which was explained as recent misuse but after riding in one the carts are in poor shape and need attention to brakes. Would play this again for half the cost only.
Not Worth Your Time or Money
Played here last summer for $35 and the course was in way better condition. Paid $65 the other day and was unimpressed with the quality of the course, the lack of amenities, and the management on staff was unprofessional. Not to mention that we were not informed of the “cart path only” rule; no signs and no heads up from ANY of the staff. We were belittled by the manager as she rudely asked “do you even know where you’re going” in a snarky voice as we are teeing off on hole 3. She threatened to “triple-charge” us without a warning. Will not be playing here anytime soon. I’ll pay the extra $15 to play down the road at Legacy.
Okay course
Course has a good layout and faireways/rough decently maintained. Greens are in need of help as they have a lot of bare and burnt areas. Rollled pretty slow. Had to sign a waiver and provide protection credit card for cart use. The claim was it was due to customers crashing carts by bad operation. As that is a portion of it the carts were in rough shape and needed much overdue maintenance or updating. They course in all was okay but I don’t think I will play it again.
“GPS” Carts
This course is really never in “great” shape but it’s a fun layout and good for high handicappers like myself. I’ve played here a bunch of times, but they recently got “GPS” on their carts. There is no screen though. It was not cart path only and this cart beeped at us the entire round. No rhyme or reason why it was beeping. It’s also an ear piercing constant beep like when you put it in reverse. We were on the cart path several times and it was just beeping away. Super super annoying and probably damaging to my hearing. Needless to say that was my last round at ole PB. Was fun while it lasted…
Not worth money
Horrible tee boxes and greens had some issues. I wouldn't complain if the price was lowered a little bit.
Pebble brook
The course has a lot of potential but it needs a lot of work. Greens were in good shape. Tee boxes where really bad Fairways were more like the first cut of rough.
If the course charged 35/40 per round I’d say it’s a good value but at 65 per player it’s overpriced for what you get.
Staff was nice
Decent track
This was the first time I played here. Lots of water on the course so it was cart path only, but the course was in good shape and played well. Definitely going to go back on a dryer day.
Course has made major improvements
This course is actually pretty fun to play. I don’t know what it is about this course but I always enjoy playing here. They have made major strides to improve the greens and it is showing. The price for this course seems a tad high but improvements cost money. Overall I would recommend this course to anyone. Next thing they need to do is improve tee boxes, if they do this this course could be the second best course in Robertson’s county only behind Legacy!
