About
The Cumberland River gave birth to the Scottish links-style Gaylord Springs Golf Links, a par-72 golf course that provides 18 testing holes that border limestone bluffs and wetlands protected by the feds. The golf course, designed by the former U.S. Open and PGA Champion Larry Nelson, has collected several distinctions over its days.
The big draw on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links is the signature fourth hole, home to the hundred-plus-year-old springhouse that gives the golf course its name.
After a round on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links, head back to the 43,000-square-foot antebellum-style clubhouse to shop, dine, and take in the views of the golf course.

Great course challenging while also fair, my favorite course to play in the Nashville area
Golfing
Very long golf course. Challenging and feels like I'm on TV.
Golfing during Xmas holidays
Awesome course. Very interesting course layout. Quite challenging links course. Very good condition for this time of the year. Played with Golfnow Hot Deals.
Okay Round
Brought client and co-worker today. Greens are average; very inconsistent speed. Pin positions are poorly chosen. #4 is unfair if ball is anywhere above the pin. Lots of golfers; slow round. Can you please re-calibrate the carts to not sent 3+ cart-path only reminders per hole. 5 seems to always be cart path only as are several others. You shut off carts the minute they hit one of these fairways. We don’t need 3+ bells per hole as reminder.
This could be a nice course / experience what some improvements.
Challenging yet fair
Course plays very well for longer players, but you must be able to putt. Greens are phenomenal, but are certainly the most challenging part. Pins can be in some nasty places, with tons of roll and very deceiving undulation. Course has done very unique character to it upon entry, and throughout the course. Women’s tees play fair for females in most cases, but very rewarding to longer hitters. Would recommend to any player.
Way off pace
Great day , great course. Pace of play was the worst I have ever experienced on any course.
As good as it gets!
Been playing for more than 4 decades and this course is probably in my top 10! FantastIc layout with lots of character. Entire course was in good shape but the greens were beyond good. Challenging but nothing unfair or overly “tricked up”. Absolute pleasure to play.
