About
The Cumberland River gave birth to the Scottish links-style Gaylord Springs Golf Links, a par-72 golf course that provides 18 testing holes that border limestone bluffs and wetlands protected by the feds. The golf course, designed by the former U.S. Open and PGA Champion Larry Nelson, has collected several distinctions over its days.
The big draw on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links is the signature fourth hole, home to the hundred-plus-year-old springhouse that gives the golf course its name.
After a round on the Gaylord Springs Golf Links, head back to the 43,000-square-foot antebellum-style clubhouse to shop, dine, and take in the views of the golf course.

Excellent staff, clientele is a young male. They generally do not play off the correct tees. So pace of play is slow. Could have more on course service.
If you have plenty of time a really good course.
Slow play
Pace of play is way to slow, plenty of marshals on the course and did not keep pace of play.
Golf with a customer
The course was in excellent shape from tee to green. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was tough but fair, and we loved the layout. Putting was very challenging, especially if you are above the hole, as they roll very fast.
Overall excellent staff, course, grille and pro-shop! We will be back again.
Must play when in Nashville. Gorgeous
What a gorgeous course, the par 3 13th hole was awesome. Alot of hills which gives it a challenge..super helpful rangers to guide you throughout the course as you can get a little lost on where the next hole is. Staff was unbelievably friendly. They even let us use their facilities (shower) and hang out for a while before our flight out. Will definitely golf here again when I'm back in Nashville
Amazing
This course was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Nothing but great things to say, the greens were immaculate! The whole course wasn’t beautiful condition! All the views of all the holes were gorgeous!
Great day in the course
The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the facilities top notch. The rental clubs we top of the line and the course challenging an in excellent condition. Highly recommend .
8 holes closed
Only 10 av to play due to heavy rains. Clubhouse said nothing until I asked if we could proceed to the 1st tee. Paid for 18 holes, only played 14
Scam
Paid for 18 but was told could only play 10 holes.....
OVER PRICED
Gaylord is taking advantage of the limited public courses in Nashville. Absolutely no reason for a 150+ round at this course. I’m quite bummed they are taking advantage of folks
Pre-Season
Cart restrictions were quite a pain, but I understand the need at times. Should probably adjust cart restrictions based on the weather, being 60-67 and relatively firm.
Rain on my Parade
As a resident of Connecticut, I should be ecstatic to have been able to actually tee off on t-boxes and putt on greens; however, the course was underwater! The t-boxes were mud with standing water the fairways the same. greens were in solid shape The staff was great, though
