Tanglewood Club

Course in good shape, played well, and pace was good.

Greens were beat up a little, golfers just need to repair them.

I like the course layout and elevation changes for a number of the holes. We played from the blue tees which should measure about 6300 yards, but it plays shorter due to the downhill holes.

The course is getting a bit torn up - with some of the tee boxes needing some maintenance.

This used to be a great course. Most fairways are under repair. Fairways are in terrible conditions. No ranger available. Course was wet and carts were not 90 degree crossing. Way too expensive for the condition of the course. I have been playing in many other courses around. Fowler’s Mill, Manakiki, Boulder Creek and they are all in perfect shape. Too bad. It is a great layout and beautiful setting.

enjoyed the course and it was in good condition for this time of year. Inexpensive for cart and 18 holes. Would definitely play again if I were an early morning tee time.

When checking in I was just told to “get in line” at tee box. 2:15 tee time and Tee’d off closer to 2:45. On back 9 no ranger, got stuck behind a group that played the last seven holes as a “7 some”. That should not have been permitted! I try to avoid afternoon golf at many courses due to pace of play issues. I would definitely add this course to list of courses to avoid unless you have early morning tee times.

This years first round on Tanglewood. Loved it, course in great shape and investment of additional trees lining fairways a solid upgrade. Many of the holes are layed out as if that hole is the only hole on he course. No playing on someone else's fairway. Very nice!!!

Pace of play was slightly above 4 hours. Enjoy the challenging layout and playing through the neighborhood. The course is a good match for my game, and looking forward to additional rounds this year!

Problem here is staff/management has no sense of professionalism which causes long rounds because they are too cheap to hire a ranger, hack golfers wearing tank tops/jeans while driving in home owner yards, just the start of the many other issues you'll notice playing here.

All for a premium price, which they have not done anything to improve the course. Take your money elsewhere, much better courses in the area worth the price (which is also cheaper)

The course had average conditions. The fairways, rough, etc. was akin to a nice city course, definitely not "country club" conditions. The greens rolled great but were much slower than I expected.

Overall I would recommend the course, especially if you get a good deal, as I loved the course layout - a good mix of scoring holes and challenging holes - but would not recommend it on a weekend where the pace of play takes almost 5 hours.

Course in great shape! Love the course design! Course always has you thinking about different club selections! Highly recommend!

Beautiful layout. Challenging course. Beginning to look a little rough around the edges, but the greens were in really good shape.

This is a nice course if you get a good deal.

Nice mixture of uphill and downhill fairways and plenty of undulations on the greens. Everything snaps in the last two feet. Not slow...but not lightening, at least not today.

Two par-3's over 210 and many holes hitting the 3-wood for position instead of needing length - which brings me to one of two gripes. Unless you constantly play the ball from right to left do not play the tips. Many fairways are blocked (trees/position of box) for any player not able to move the ball...even when hitting 3-wood for position. Just cut back a couple of trees/overhang for those of us that hit a slight fade.

Second...pace of pay is pretty bad. No starter or ranger so everyone just does their own thing. If you get caught behind people who spray or can't putt...you're in for a long day.

Definitely worth a HotDeal...

the course was in very good condition there was some standing water many parts of the course are absolutely beautiful staff was very friendly the pace of play was a abysmal

No starter out front. It was a free for all on the tee. A group went ahead of us, around our cart, on the first tee and claim they had an earlier tee time even though it was our time. No one was around to ask so we let them go, of course they were slow.

Greens were beat up with marks and didn't seem to be cut or rolled recently. Cups had crowns around them. They didn't seem like they were freshly cut or put in a new location for a few days. Not what I would expect out of this course because in years prior they seem to be more organized and in better shape.

First time playing Tanglewood and I'll be back. The course is constantly changing hole to hole, is in very good shape and has very receptive, but SLOW greens. It's as beautiful as the surrounding community which by the way, houses are on the course (glady, I did not hit any of them). You'll want to make your way out to this course

Every single hole at Tanglewood makes you think. It forces you to be creating but also gives you a chance to score. Most of the holes have elevated greens so make sure you are ready to hit your irons well. The course is in great shape, the fairways are great to hit off of and the greens aren’t too tricky. Definitely a great place to play with incredible views
