Course conditions have declined significantly. Too bad. Nice course and tough layout. Greens were decent.

I paid $50.00 to play 18 holes? I wouldnt pay more than $10.00. I cant believe that place was a country club.

The course was in horrible shape! The fairways were bare. As well as the tee boxes. Yardage markers were way off from what i got with my laser range finder. The lunch counter had no change, or miller lite? Never going back!

Very nice and challenging course. The other golfers were very friendly and the staff was as well. I will definitely be back.

Fairways a little beat up on the back but otherwise in good shape

Tried this golf course for the first time and was very pleased. The staff in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice deal on drinks as well as golf balls. The course overall was quite nice. The greens were well maintained. Occasional mud spots made some of the holes more challenging than others. We played later in the day and there was very little player traffic which made for a very casual pace. Great time! I’ll certainly be back!

Tanglewood, formerly a private club that,.like many in NE Ohio, has been forced to go semi-public in order to survive, It is one heck of a test! I shot 87 and was quite happy with that. There are lots of elevation changes and quite a bit of water! The greens are very large and usually putt quite fast.

There were a few issues that torrential downpours Sunday evening into Monday caused, but it's been raining buckets here all year! Quite a few bunkers had water in them, and the greens were a bit slower than usual. Still, this is heck of track, and we try to play it a couple times a season even though the drive is a little over an hour.

Tanglewood has a great layout but was not in as good shape as usual today because of the rain earlier in the week. The course is normally in above average condition. The play on the front nine was okay - we got around in a little over 2 hours as a threesome with a threesome in front of us. When we got to the back nine, we saw that more than two holes had opened up between the group in front of the group in front of us and the next group. Play had slowed down considerably on the back nine and we were waiting on almost every shot. We skipped ahead two holes so that we could finish the round in a reasonable time frame. After we finished, had loaded the car and driven out of Tanglewood, we saw the group in front of us was just teeing off on the 17th hole and the other group was still on the hole. The rangers need to do a better job of speeding up play when large gaps appear or requiring the slow group to skip a hole or let other groups through.

Played cart path only as lots of rain prior 2 days. Playable, early rounds had a few uncut greens.

I get that some of the rough might still be wet, and it was, but about half the fairways were unplayable also. The greens were perfect.

Played my annual round at Tanglewood. Enjoyable as always. For the amount of rain there has been, course was in generally good condition all considering.

Several bunkers are being fixed for drainage issues on the back 9 which is great to see the investment being made into the course.

I only have a couple of improvements to note which could make this a really great track:

1.) The range. Sub par is the best way to say it. A plus though...there is a range (although you can't hit driver on it).

2.) Lack of yardage information. I really really wish for one of the following: 1.) yardage markers on the sprinklerheads. 2.) Yardage information on the scorecard 3.) more pronounced yardage poles (only markers right now are faded Blue/White/Red stripes on the cart path). If you don't have a GPS scope with you, you are guessing all day long.

3.) Hole diagrams. Put them somewhere....scorecard, hole marker, etc. Just put it somewhere. I HATE playing "blind" onto holes.

4.) Water on the course. There is none. How hard is it to put a few strategic coolers around the course?

Had a pleasant afternoon playing golf with my brother in law and a father and son, You can tell that at one time this was a top notch course.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The course drainage and playability was amazing for the month of rain we just had. Will play a few more times this summer. Fair value. Greens are like glass even after 3 days of rain. Excited to see what it looks like mid summer. Absolutely recommend

This is hands down the worst course I’ve ever played. Course layout is so bad. The conditions are even worse. Rocks in the sand trap. Chunks missing out of the fairway. Greens slow as can be I actually left at the 13th hole because I couldn’t even stand to look at the place anymore. Go somewhere else.

It may be off the tee or into the green but every hole presents a challenge. I played here twice this year and it has become my favorite. It was fun and interesting to navigate the fairways. Many of the holes work their way through a residential area. Little room for error and very fun!!! The greens are true and fair. There was good availability in the morning, and we completed in less than four hours. A good way to start the day. Highly recommend the course and good luck.
