the course was challenging
I like the fact the course was well maintained, good scenery everywhere, and the greens were in very good shape and quite a few holes gave you a good challenge also. I'd play it often if it wasn't over an hour away lol, overall a great course to play, definitely one to come back to again.
Nice layout, but still needs work.
Drainage on the back nine is poor. Greens are good, but tees need work. Sand traps improving, but a long way to go.
Great layout
A beautiful piece of property, well designed challenging course with large well maintained greens. New owner is working to restore conditions to its original state, if this is ever accomplished it will be one of the best public tests in NE Ohio.
The course needs attention bad
The condition of the course is pretty shotty, hopefully as we approach summer it gets better but it needs a lot of work. It is nestled in a neighborhood with some pretty nice views. Not too sure if I'll be going back this year..
Excellent course
It rained heavily the night before we played yet the course was in very good shape. The greens were fast and true and the rough was thick.
THIS COURSE HAS QUITE A BIT OF UNDULATION IN THE FAIRWAYS AND MOST GREENS
WE ENJOYED PLAYING TANGLEWOOD VERY MUCH, THE COURSE WAS RATHER WET BUT STILL PLAYED TO A FAIR LENGTH FROM THE WHITE TEES. THERE WERE SOME BLIND SHOTS. PACE OF PLAY WAS GOOD AND LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING AGAIN SOON.
New and Improved
They have really but some work into this course and is in the best shape it has been in for years. The greens are the best I have played in the area. The staff is supper friendly.
Course is coming back to shape...
We had a nice day on the course and the greens rolled well despite the amount of rain there was. I was disapointed that we had to play because of how wet it was and some greens were not puttable due to puddles. Since they would not provide a rain check and we could not get a refund we played all 18. Its a good value and a good place to play.
It was a tad wet
I rained very hard early in the day. With standing water on some greens I was surprised the course was open. It is a challenging great track. While it is not in great shape it remains very playable. But it keeps getting better each time I return.

Slowly Coming Back
A few years ago this course was not in good shape. The new owner is making improvements and is in decent shape. Greens are nice and fairways are pretty good. This is a nice layout and should only get better over time with the investment the new owner is making.
Great layout and you will need to use all 14 clubs lol.
We had a blast yesterday, the course was in excellent condition, can't get a better value for such a great course

Course was in good shape.
The course was in good shape for this time of year. The greens were very nice and the pin placements were tough. The traps could use some attention and the rough needed to be cut but other than that the course looked great.
Awesome greens! Pace of play was crazy fast, just under 2 1/2 hours for a twosome.
All around great course. Very challenging, we played it from tips; just over 7100 yards, but very fair. One of the better tracks I've played this year.
Worth a return trip.
They are working on the course now so there is a reason why the conditions are not great. There are new owners and I expect to see good things.
Challenging course - spring conditions
I have played here multiple times and have enjoyed each outing. Course was pretty beat up last summer but is showing signs of improvements this spring. Play was Slow but I would expect that on a weekend. Overall - good deal - I will be back
Great work by the club
Tanglewood has gone above and beyond compared to last year. All the problem holes were fixed and it was a very pleasent experience.
Great course for the money
Golf course has a lot of houses on it. So there is a lot of out of bounds. Hit Straight on many holes or lose a ball.
