Fairways and greens
Smyrna Golf Course has made significant improvements from the last time I played…Staff was courteous and professional. Fairways are still average but the greens are in good condition. Pace of play was what you’d expect.

A starter would allow for a better pace of play and keep groups from starting their round before their allotted time. At several points in our round we had as many as 4 groups on the same hole.

With that in mind, we are working to best control pace and allow everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. First timer- overall 4.5/5 rating
Overall good layout and some challenging holes and approach shots. Several Greens are a little roughed up and most were slower. I don’t think they were mowed that morning after rain overnight. Will play again as one of few affordable and decent condition public courses in the area! The trek at the turn and finish is a little long!!

Great course
Awesome course. Great staff. Pace of play was excellent and it was hot.

OVERBOOKING and RUDE
They overbooked the course then sent Marshall out to push and prod the Paying customers. The marshal was rude and was unbale to pinpoint the cause of the bottlenecking. Everyone was waiting.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Wanted to play it after hearing about the how great the people there are and that was absolutely true.. I was a single behind 4 4somes and the pace was too much like a tournament.. I did h ae a good time and would highly recommend Smyrna.. For a Muni, it is incredible

Solid Course
Course was in very good condition, well maintained. Staff were friendly and did well managing pace. Will definitely be golfing here again.
