Smyrna Golf Course - Regulation Course

Municipal course so you got the standard 4some’s riding around with millers looking for balls slowing it down and not fixing divots/ball marks on greens- need an active marshall. Other than that it wasn’t bad. Not the best not the worst

Course itself isnt bad, decent condition, greens are pretty quick, firm and not very receptive. I dont think anyone fixes their ball marks on the green which is why theyre littered with craters. The pace of play is probably the worst ive ever seen in my life, its incredibly backed up and its nearly impossible to finish 18 holes unless you start before 1pm. The plethora of old people with horrible game and manners will probably not let you play through either and no one seems to care that the pace of play is 15+ mins PER HOLE, everyone seems to be okay with playing 9 holes over the span of 3.5 hours.

I play this course as often as possible in the summer months. It has been a fun course and gets more fun as I learn it more and strategize. The club house could be updated and the bathrooms could use a face lift. I am also disappointed every time I go that no one who works there can take the time to fill the ball cleaning stations. I would think this would be easy since I constantly see marshals driving around.

I wish they would put a water hole at at least one of the holes since that is always a lot of fun to hit over a hazard like that. There are a couple of holes that go over a creek, but I wish there was a small lake. Maybe on hole 5 or 9?

This is my second time playing and both times we've had great pace of play and great conditions. The greens are good, not great, and the fairways are nice to play off of. I'll definitely be back here soon to play again.

Very frustrating putting due to the care of the greens

For the price. This course far exceeded my expectations. Everyone is super friendly. The layout is very beginner friendly. The only harsh thing I would have to say is that a few of the greens could use some TLC but overall an amazing experience here. Will definitely be coming back

First time playing, the course was challenging but fun. The greens were in great shape. It is a very open course without a lot of woods which make it easier for me to find my ball. One thing to note is it borders an active regional airport on two sides so it's pretty loud.

Overall the course was pretty hard and dry, but somewhat expected due to the recent drought. The greens were very bumpy and could use some maintenance. Price is somewhat fair (especially with a hot deal) considering many area courses are $80+. Would play here again. The snack bar lady is not friendly at all.
