Atascocita Golf Club - Point/Shores Course

The course was really nice it was very challenging.

I could see they're still working on certain things like the tea boxes but it's a work in progress, overall we had a great time playing the course.

This is a 27 hole course. They will direct you on which 18 holes are to be played that day. Some of the fairways are better than the others but overall not in bad shape. Have played here throughout the year and pretty consistent. The greens are a little rough and sandy. Not sure if it is do to the heavy rains we received this year or the usual Houston heat. The course does wind through the Atascocita subdivision but the fairways are wide so you should miss the houses on your tee off.

Pace of play is usually good with slower golfers letting other golfers to pass. No snack bar so pack your own. They do have drinks and a drink cart on the weekend.

Overall worth the money. I usually play on weekends and can find a tee time around $25 or less on Golfnow.

while visiting Houston I had the opportunity to play all three 9 holes courses this course is on the mend from being dormant. the tee boxes needed mowing. fairways were decent shape the greens ran true

Was the home course for the University of Houston in the 70's. Is challenging yet is a fair test.

Nice course greens in need of a little work rest of course in good condition. The staff was extremely friendly everyone I encountered smiled and were very polite and courteous.

As a result of my experience I plan to play this course again very soon

Due to rain the night before, it was cart trail only. The course had soggy areas. The greens were not in good condition. The Point had been aerated and top sanded within a 7 to 10 day time frame.

The Staff, from the Starter to the Management, where very friendly & Customer oriented.

I could tell they are really working on the course condition. Great friendly staff and have played this course twice in 1 week due to red hot deal. Greens are pretty good except a couple holes have a little sand, but the fairways and tees are great for the price. Overall I will continue to play this course and it has some tough holes.

This was my 3rd time playing here but the 1st time ive played the Shores. The Shores is by far the nicest of the three par 9s. The greens were immaculate. My favorite characteristic about the course is that even though it is built in a residential community, the fairways are super wide with plenty of room for wayward drives off the tee which reduces the stress of the tee and makes for a much more enjoyable round.

Course was wet due to rains on previous night and greens need some work.

This is a rather difficult country club course with quick sloping greens. The course is very demanding on the 2nd shot and relatively open on the tee shots.

Great layout but needs a lot of attention, they are letting the course go, not impressed!

Difficult golf course, long, with lack of tee boxes for shorter hitters, seniors. Maintenance was not good, many tee boxes with little to no grass, but greens were fair to good, very putt-able, and bunkers were good. Overall, good course, old, that I would not recommend to a friend due to poor conditions.
