Great value.
Old country club trying to "come back" by enticing outside golfers with greatly discounted green/cart fees. Course conditions are above average.
Poor Conditions!
The course conditions are poor! Management is poor!! When you have these two combinations you should close the place as it was before.

Shores greens is ok.
The greens on Pinehurst and Point are terrble. The fairways and tee boxes are ok.

Tee it up
I enjoy playing here the greens roll really good, the fairways are kept up nice. The homeowners that I've met that have home on the coarse are really nice and friendly. Most of the players seem nice but I have seen where golfers have been somewhat disrespectful but not to often.

Best golf deal in town
These courses are in as good of shape as ever. There are a few greens still making a comeback but over all the best conditioned course I've played this year. If you only play a couple times a month then the $10 golfnow deal that pops up every now and then is where it's at. If you play more often than that they have a membership that is only $200 a month and includes carts and range balls at no extra charge. If there's a better deal out there for a pristine 27 hole course I haven't found it.

Nice course
The course was really nice it was very challenging.
I could see they're still working on certain things like the tea boxes but it's a work in progress, overall we had a great time playing the course.

Worth The Price
This is a 27 hole course. They will direct you on which 18 holes are to be played that day. Some of the fairways are better than the others but overall not in bad shape. Have played here throughout the year and pretty consistent. The greens are a little rough and sandy. Not sure if it is do to the heavy rains we received this year or the usual Houston heat. The course does wind through the Atascocita subdivision but the fairways are wide so you should miss the houses on your tee off.
Pace of play is usually good with slower golfers letting other golfers to pass. No snack bar so pack your own. They do have drinks and a drink cart on the weekend.
Overall worth the money. I usually play on weekends and can find a tee time around $25 or less on Golfnow.

nice courses
while visiting Houston I had the opportunity to play all three 9 holes courses this course is on the mend from being dormant. the tee boxes needed mowing. fairways were decent shape the greens ran true

Great traditional layout
Was the home course for the University of Houston in the 70's. Is challenging yet is a fair test.

Course playing very well fairways had plush grass & greens running good , pace of play was good: Some dog legs & forced carries over all nice course will be backnext week

Very Good Golfing experience
Nice course greens in need of a little work rest of course in good condition. The staff was extremely friendly everyone I encountered smiled and were very polite and courteous.
As a result of my experience I plan to play this course again very soon

Golf Preserve
Due to rain the night before, it was cart trail only. The course had soggy areas. The greens were not in good condition. The Point had been aerated and top sanded within a 7 to 10 day time frame.
