The Course & Staff, made it an enjoyable event
The Staff, from the Starter to the Management, where very friendly & Customer oriented.
Atascocita
I could tell they are really working on the course condition. Great friendly staff and have played this course twice in 1 week due to red hot deal. Greens are pretty good except a couple holes have a little sand, but the fairways and tees are great for the price. Overall I will continue to play this course and it has some tough holes.
Thank you for your review and feedback on the improvements we've been making! We hope to see you again soon!
Three par 9 tracks
This was my 3rd time playing here but the 1st time ive played the Shores. The Shores is by far the nicest of the three par 9s. The greens were immaculate. My favorite characteristic about the course is that even though it is built in a residential community, the fairways are super wide with plenty of room for wayward drives off the tee which reduces the stress of the tee and makes for a much more enjoyable round.
Thank you for your review Edward! Thank you for being a loyal golfer and we're glad you enjoyed our Shores side!
We hope to see you back on the course again soon!
HREAT COURSE FOR THE PRICE
Course was wet due to rains on previous night and greens need some work.
Hi Cesar,
Thank you for your review and feedback. The crazy rains have been giving us some trouble, but we've been working hard to keep them up to our golfers' standards. We hope to see you out again soon!

Excellent country club course
This is a rather difficult country club course with quick sloping greens. The course is very demanding on the 2nd shot and relatively open on the tee shots.
Thank you for your review Marsenous!
Rainy cloudy good day of golf
Overall a fun layout
3 nine holes course all with a different feel
Tee boxes in tough shape
Greens ok
Fairways ok
Sand traps ok
Hi Curtis,
Thank you for your feedback! Glad to hear you enjoyed the layout and we appreciate your input on where we could improve!

Course needs more care
Difficult golf course, long, with lack of tee boxes for shorter hitters, seniors. Maintenance was not good, many tee boxes with little to no grass, but greens were fair to good, very putt-able, and bunkers were good. Overall, good course, old, that I would not recommend to a friend due to poor conditions.
U.S. Open rough
First time playing in a long time. It went to seed but has recently been revived. It isn't too long and the fairways are in good shape except on The Point nine, which has some very muddy spots. Main point of contention is that the fairways needed mowing on Shores nine AND the rough was extremely long on both nines. Couldn't find ball three feet off fairway. Greens were partially sanded but fair.
Quality
above average quality course
Beautiful Tight Track
I remember this course from 20 years ago when I lived in the area and glad to see they were able to bring it back after its closure for about 4 years. They have done a Very Good job of bringing this course back into shape. Greens were Very good and rolled true although there were a few patches of unwanted foreign grass. Fairways were in excellent shape and ball almost always sat up nicely on a cushion. Some of the tee boxes are showing the averse affects of our grueling summer heat and had assorted dead and brown spots. Bring your "A" game on your long irons as even from the White Tees the Par 3's played between 180 and 200 Yards. Course knowledge is critical because some shots are blind and you could hit more than needed and end up in water fronting a green or at the end of your tee shot.
Best dollar for dollar
I have played this course 4 or 5 times. It is in the best condition I have seen. Normally the greens are hard as a rock and need attention but not yesterday. Some of the tee boxes need help but other than that it was in great condition. For $12 on golfnow you will not find a better deal. Go play this course before the heat drys it out.
pinehurst
They should let you know when there is a tournament going on but still not a bad pace
Nice long course
Had a nice time me and my wife
Pinehurst/Shores
The course is in good shape however the greens are hard. They do not hold and shots that hit the green in the air roll out. Frequently off the back. Fast and pretty smooth but hard to hold. Fairways, sand traps and tee boxes are in good shape.
Good Fun Game , While fighting the heat
Wonderful Staff enjoyed my round
New Favorite
This is a 27 hole course that is well layed out. This was my 4th time playing and will not be the last. For the price in Golf Now, it's well worth it. What I heard it used to be a great course back in the 80's/90's until it got revived again by the community's HOA. The last two visits they are redoing 9 holes which is great to know that they still have 18 other holes to play in. All 27 are challenging and greens are well maintained. I will be coming back b/c of the friendly staff, great course and close to home.
Wet times
This is a very nice layout and the staff is friendly and helpful. We have had record rainfall in the area this year and the course condition showed it. I hit the ball in the fairway and still had 1" grass to hit out of. I am sure I will have a better round if we ever dry out enough to let the mowers back on the course.
Good course for a fair price.
This is a good course. The staff was top notch and the Marshalls were friendly. They had us on the paths and that was a good call. The greens were much better than some of the reviews I read. If there is negative to be found, this course is long. I played the white tees and I had long irons in all day. But we need that from time to time. Overall, I would give GP of A very high marks.
Great course for the money
Course is in great shape considering how much rain we have received - it was cart path only when I went out. Some invasive grass on the greens but the fairways were okay. The only beef I would have with the course is the lack of variety. All the pat 3's are the same length(168-178) and all the par 4's are the same length (370-390)from the white tees (for the most part).
