Atascocita: the Second Time Didn't Disappoint
Atascocita G.C. is a 27 hole course. I played the Pinehurst and Point courses today. The courses were in excellent condition. The greens were replaced 2 years and are in excellent condition. I played Pinehurst for the first ninr holes. Pinehurst has mostly narrow fairways since it is situated within a housing development. Definitely, a "good golfers" course. Played from the white tees so it was a good challenge. On the back nine I played Point. The Point nine is more wide open than Pinehurst so my errant tee shots often remained inbounds. There were several blind shots on this nine so it would help to play with someone who knows the course. The greens were very quick with various undulations making putting exciting. Oh yes, the greens are smaller in size compared to other local courses. All-in-all. A good day at Atascocita.

Got my tee time off of Golf Now for $28. Enjoyed the golf course, was in good shape. The young lady that drove around with the drinks was very nice!
Very good experience
I have played the course quite a few times in the past but it’s been a while since I’ve been here. I was able to get a Ted time on short notice which can be hard this time of year, my partner cancelled on me hours before my tee time but I went ahead and showed up. They were very good about it and worked me right in with another group. The course was in the best shape I can remember. There were a lot of people out there but the pace of play was surprisingly fast. I will be making this my go to course now.
Vets/Military appreciated here!
Beautiful course! I was even impressed by the driving range. Range balls are free with green fees.
The course was challenging but not so much so that we didn’t have fun.
Lastly, VETS AND MILITARY: Atascocita does a special for military on Tuesday’s. $25 for golf and two free beers!!!
This course is kept in great shape and the greens are almost perfect. Great value for the current course conditions.
