even with GolfNow discount, way, way overpriced for what yoiu get
While I didn't imagine much from a muni owned by a town of 30,000, I expected a lot more than this. Dirt encircling many greens, huge patches of grassless fairway. Sorry, but probably the worst golfing experience I've had in 20 or so years.
Always fun
The course is a little worse for the wear in the fairways and around some of the greens. However it’s minimal and shouldn’t keep you away! Greens are great and this course is always fun.
Getting better all the time
Some of the greens and aprons were damaged by the harsh winter conditions that we experienced, but they are coming back strong. It’s so nice to have this course right here in Cleburne
Fun Course-Needs Work
It's hard to beat the price and the course is very fun. Around 1/3rd of the fairways are dead and much of the area around the greens is under repair. Greens are.in good shape and roll true. Hopefully they put some money in the course and get it back in shape.
Great recovery
Course is making a great recovery from the winter storm and spring rains,
Always enjoy a round of golf here,
Hidden Gem
Love/Hate relationship with this course. The views are incredible but the course could use some up keep. Tons of beautiful flowers all around the course but plane prepared to lose a dozen golf balls.
16th Hole
A temporary green which decreases the distance of #16 by 100-150 yards exists.
Watercoolers are back. Bathrooms are after #5, near the end of #10, & after #12.
Course isn't in as good of shape as it was in July 2020.
Too wet
For the course conditions, green fees should be steeply discounted. Wet conditions reeked havoc on the greens and fairways. 16 is a temp green. Did not see a food cart all round.
Great course
Half of the course was closed due to recent heavy rains. Not the fault of the course or staff.
Cleburne Course
Great overall condition considering the monsoons we have had since the first of May. Greens were above average with the exception of 16 which is under extensive repair. The Grill is awesome with great burgers. Pace of play was good but it was after 3pm. It was my 2nd time golfing there and won't be my last.

Only made it thru 12 holes due to lightning and storms.
Great Value!
Folks here’s the deal. If it has been raining for a week straight, your course is going to be cart path only! You should know this. You should expect this. The course is in very good condition given our less than ideal weather this year. I absolutely would recommend this course, and I commend the course maintenance staff.
