Priced to high

Prices way too high for the condition of the course, all the greens on the front nine were mainly compacted soil. Back nine was a little better than front. I’ve played this course since it opened. It has a long way to go before they can justify it being $80 course. Tierra Verde just under that and it’s a in great shape. Play was slow, over 5 hour round, never saw a marshal. That was my last round there.

Beautiful Course but need 2 cart girls running on the weekends

The course is very nice and a great layout. They had just sanded the greens, but expected for spring. The only complaint is, we only saw the cart girl twice in 18 holes. We play another 9 and saw her one more time but not til the very end. If its 85 in DFW on a Saturday... probably best to run 2 bev carts.

Great Layout

Enjoyed playing Southern Oaks. A few fairways were a little rough, but should be back to good condition by summer. The layout of the course is great and the greens are challenging. The staff is friendly. I will definitely be back.

Poor Greens and Communication

I had a 5:50 tee time. The pro shop said have the carts in by 7:45 (sunset). I knew it wouldn’t a full round, but they started pulling pins before 7.

Also the greens were in rough shape. Sandy and reallyyyyy firm. It was super tough to hold the greens.

Decent for the price if you live close but that’s it

Greens are way too fast for the shape they are in. Bumpy rolls and inconsistent. Hopefully some rain will help but today was rough (pun intended)
