Always good
Never had any problems with playing Cleburne, been playing it from time to time for years. Want the key? Play from the fairway!
Great public course
The only reason I gave this course a good rating was they have no drink cart. The course is in great condition with the help,of a rainy May, but makes for some steamy greens by the lake. I would play this course a few times a month if i could. Par 4 and 5s really let you take a full turn with the driver. Fairways are smooth and lush. Greens were in great shape and rolled true. If you haven’t played this course you need to put it on the list.
Great golf course
I have spent over 1500 dollars on golf now
Playing here sense December. With that being said cleburne golf links is a good well kept beautiful course. The morning staff and golf pro are excellent at customer service the other no so much. I have wrote several great reviews of this place but today I don’t feel like I was treated right.
At 1:40 I finished my round with a 3some. I walked into the club house at 1:42 asking for a replay. With that being said I make sure to check on golfnow to make sure there is still tee times available within the next 25-30 min. When I walked in the club house there were 2 4somes about to tee off but all tee times were open after those 2 tee times online and nobody else waiting in parking lot or behind 4somes. I was told by staff that they were gona wait and were good right now on my replay check back in an hour. I understand the spacing off tee times and everything else a golf course has to worry about but how it was portrayed to me after spending lots of money did not sit well with me. Take my money and tell me I’m behind the next 3 slots. Overall a great place but when u spend big money playing at a course u are being loyal to and never having a problem replaying the course. Just didint like the tone or way it wasn’t handled. Make sure to play this gem ...
Be prepared to play in the wind. Course laid out along a lake. Very good greens. Fair greens. Must play the break.
Very tall grass between and around fairways. Wide fairways. You should not be in the tall grass.
Great course. Great views.
Try It Out
Really nice course should be tried by all. Great staff. I drive from Irving at least once a month to play here
terrible pace of play
Five some in blue jeans held up the course with their slow pace of play. Pace of play is killing golf for the masses.
Nice Links By the Lake
Cleburne is a "links" type course in that it plays nine holes out, and nine back to the clubhouse.
Conditions are typical for bermuda courses this time of year - dormant and tight fairways with fast rolling greens. If you like "firm and fast" you'll like it here. Wide fairways and easy off the teebox - only forced carries are on 4, 8, 11, 12 and 14. Interesting big shared green on #'s 5/12.
Keep it in the fairway and you're fine - the rough is ankle deep right now.
Grill is well known for their great hamburgers.
Greens were super fast. Like Concrete slab
Golf course layout was great but staff was rude. Rushed to get started and it was 10 min before our tee time. Then he commented rudely about bringing carts back by 5:30pm

Everything is dormant greens rolled quick still a few wet areas in fairway from all the rain in sept and oct
