Until the new Los Lagos club opened recently, Monte Cristo, previously known as Palacio, was the only 18-hole course in Edinburg. The name of the game here is dealing with the wind, which seems to always blow from the Gulf and makes the course much more difficult.
Getting there : Exit Monte Cristo off 281 south, then turn left and drive 2.5 miles to the course.

First time playing, thought the course was on very good overall condition. Flat course with some water very playable. Will be back
Fun Course
I play to about a 10 hdc and thought the course was fun. If you could stay near the fairways, the greens were very reachable.
I enjoyed my round.
Greens are in good condition.
The course is in good condition and well maintained. It was some what slow playing behind a five player group. Should only allow 4 in a group

Course is great but they give out tee times in the middle of tournaments that are going on...a weird experience 🤔
