Hawk's Creek Golf Club

I have started to play at Hawks Creek a little more ofter lately because I find the course interestingly challenging. I guess that is to say I like the course layout. Being familiar with the course helps me with my decisions to where I should hit the ball. Of course, executing the shots is another matter all together. There are elevations changes throughout the course, which I like. There are doglegs right and left with bunkers placement in key landing areas. I found the greens in great condition allowing my ball to roll true on them. The fairways and bunkers were in superb condition as well. I am also happy to say that ending the round with some food and beverage at the club house wasn't challenging at all, the prices are quite reasonable.

As spring approaches course in great shape..Greens were excellent and best sand traps in city...Prices are great and staff friendly and fun...Make the day fun on the course-one of our favorites...

This is a great course, It's in good shape and reasonably priced. Sorry to see negative comments about the pro shop. They are true, but center on only one person. . The other guys are great; very friendly and helpful. They're part of why I travel so far to play this course. I don't know why the course puts up with the lemon, but it does. They should fly a red flag when he's behind the counter.

I always enjoy this course but have two comments or suggestions.

The course has been in excellent conditions but it seems like maintenance is starting to lag just a little. It may be the time of year but spend the money to keep the course in the wonderful condition it has been.

Need a real 9 hole rate. Sometimes that is all there is time for and I am not willing to pay for 18 and get a credit at a later date. My wife likes to play nine and we often have to go to other courses that offer nine hole rates.

Course in very good shape for a 1 March 48 degree day....Always a good value...

First time to play this course and I had a blast!! Fast and friendly service. Good practice facilities. 19th hole has ice cold beverages at very reasonable prices! Great views of military jets practicing their take offs and landings provide the “wow” factor. I recently returned to the area and I will be a regular!

Great shape for winter play...Love the new carts too!!

Great course and this time of year relatively empty. Temperature today was 50.

This course has one of the best layouts in the area. The course and the greens and in very good shape. The course has a good mix of different kinds of holes. I have worked in the golf course business for 20 years the Golf Course Superintendent gets a big thumbs up. No the down side. The guy working in the Golf Shop on 1-27-19 has no business working in public service. I have played golf for 30 years that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had trying to deal with someone working at a golf course. Who ever runs the Golf Shop needs to find someone else to work on Sunday afternoons.

Great track but the pro shop experience left a lot to be desired.

Enjoyed the round. Course was in great shape for winter conditions, the bunkers were in great shape even though I didn't enjoy finding them. Staff was friendly, this course is by an air force base, so there will be the occasional jet flying over very loudly. Very nice layout, with a variety of different shots needed off of the tee. There really aren't any forced carries. Some creeks you have to navigate, but a fun, enjoyable course. I will be back.

Course in good shape especially for time of year...New golf carts nice and prices keep this a real value...

We always a fun time to be had at Hawks Creek GC. The course is all brown now but conditions are good and greens are rolling very true. Oh, they have brand new gas carts with USB ports!

Always enjoy playing this course. You get to hit all your clubs with a good variety of shots required. Greens are always in good shape. Good value.

Interesting experience here. The course sits right next to the FW NAS. Kinda fun getting to see the jets on maneuvers. This is an old school short and narrow course. The greens are small with huge slopes. Be careful to follow the signs as the course layout can be confusing. Clubhouse looks like an old home from the original settlers. Think I will come back again. Count this as a second tier course.

Greens were in great shape as was course in general. Wind and mist came up in PM making back nine tough, especially 18!! Friendly staff and consistent value....Always enjoy the course.
