The Club at Rebecca Creek
About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Fairways need help.
1st time playing. The fairways were in rough shape, but the greens were in great shape. No water or sand traps, but plays long a bit.
Very nice staff. Near Valler Creek which is in better condition.
Good deaI on golfnow, plus located near Canyon Lake.
Would play again if the price is right. Do wish that the fairways come back.
Great value for the price
This is a great golf course for beginners or advanced players. The fairways are wide open and there are no bunkers or water to deal with so you can really go after it, if you so choose. I really look forward to coming back.
Hard, tight fairways
Nice course. Tight fairways. On some.holes its easy to be in the next fairway with a slightly errant drive.. They are very hard and dry. Some.seroius hardpan. Greens are in good condition, rolling well. For the price I'd be willing to go again.
Tic Toc 60
Today round was great. shot 78, pace of play was great. course has alot of rough spots lack of sprinklers system for the fairways. Greens are in excellent shape, running thru. Great time.
Rough check-in this time here
Never had a check-in issue before at this course, however, this time there was a check in individual with his own set of rules. I was not allowed to even check in until exactly 15 min before tee off time. (never happened with any other check in personnel) This meant I could not load my clubs & take them over to the warm up on the range. (I.m 72 1/2 YO) I needed to carry my own clubs over to the driving range to warm up ( I arrived 1.5 hours early for just this purpose.) It appears that because I was a Golf Now patron & the person that was match to play with me was also was the fundamental reason (this particular starter) treated us this way. When we matched up at the tee box he voiced very similar astonishment to my own at how he had been treated by the check in person , i.e., he was not a happy camper either.
By way of questioning the check in person as to why he had taken this course of action I stated.
1; I had played at this course several times in the past, including just the one week prior & had never been treated like this. I also mentioned that I had played approximately 60 rounds over the past 10 years under the same arrangements & never experienced a situation like this. He seemed very confused & skeptical of what I was saying. I would really like to see the managers set a policy that everyone knows & follows. Also, they need to explain that CHECKING IN means your letting them know you are at the course, but it does not mean you are going to ignore your tee time slot & run out on their golf course & do anything you darn well please. Enough said.
It has been brutally hot here (100 - 108 starting in July) & no measurable rain since June 5th . So the course is rather dry & hard but that doesn't put a damper on enjoying the course design with all its challenges. Great for intermediate & senior players.
This course has come a long way in design & maturity over the past 5 yrs It has a lot to offer families. The owners deserve high five.
Hill country golf
7:40 tee time, finished in 3 1/2 hours, heat was not a factor, some of the holes are side by side, had to wait a few times on others playing opposite of us. Overall great course!
Good course. In good shape considering the heat
The course is in good shape. Some greens were a little spotty/bumpy. Pace of play was excellent. Players should be aware that due to COVID there is NO DRINKING WATER available on the course and I only saw a beverage cart once in 4 hrs.
Ok Course for money
The layout is very nice, and there is a lot of potential here. The course though is extremely dry and in poor shape right now. Very confusing why when we have received so much rain this year. Hopefully they get the greens back in order.
Hidden Gem
This is the second time we have played RC and it only gets better. This course is tucked away on a small country road. Such nice staff and well kept fairways. Greens had just been aerated so they were a little bumpy but overall really nice experience.
Fun times!
Got there early to play 9 holes. I asked if I could start back 9 early even though maintenance was finishing up. They kindly let me go ahead and it was great. Out there by myself, cool breeze, and beautiful greens. This course is near my house and is a favorite.
Super fun course!
The course is just off 281 N and is easy to get to. We had great day and the course was beautiful!
Great location outside of town
A friend and I needed to have a chat about a few projects we were working on and decided to do so over a round of golf. I pulled up the GN app and found Rebecca Creek avialable for an early tee time. We got out at our designated tee time and the pace of play was excellent until after the turn, we caught up to a group in front of us playing a little slower, but we were discussing the projects, so it wasn't a bother. The course was in great shape and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would recommend the course if you have played most in San Antonio. The views and atmosphere were a welcome change.
