The Club at Rebecca Creek
About
Located at the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the Course at the Club at Rebecca Creek sprawls across gently rolling terrain dappled with mature oak trees. The golf course has had several different iterations over the years, it was formerly known as Rebecca Creek and until 2013 it was the Hawk at Rebecca Creek. There were several green and fairway improvements before it reopened under its new name. The course stretches to over 7,000 yards from the back tees and there are some tough holes but overall it's a golf course that players of all skill levels will enjoy. Trees line the fairways and there are some subtle but tricky changes in elevation. In addition to the course, there is also a driving range and practice green available.

Good Value
Course is in good shape. Greens were best they’ve every been. Not real challenging. No bunkers and no water hazards. Great course for beginner and intermediate players.
Rebecca creek
I thought the course was in good condition, mostly I was just glad the course was open for play.
OK by no means great
Course layout is fine but the course itself needs some money put into it. Fairways are a mixture of weeds, turf and bald spots. Where does the fairway stop and rough begin; hard to tell.
Course needs some topsoil, grass seed and weed control mixed with some TLC and it could be in great shape. Grounds team, pick a hole a week to improve and in a few months it will look great.
Bottom line, Ok value but not worth the drive from San Antonio to play.
Rebecca Creek saves the day during COVID-19
A bit of a drive, but worth it. Course was open for COVID-19 play. #1 and 18 reminded me of links courses in the UK--BRILLIANT! It was 98% humidity in the AM but eventually dried out...hard to see the pins on the first few holes...
Course was in pretty good shape...just happy we could get out. Looking forward to going back
and sitting around the 19th after COVID-19 gives us the all clear! Enjoyed it and recommend.

This is a fun short course in typical spring condition.
I drove out from San Antonio because the city courses were closed due covid 19. Starting time was 7:45 and the weather was iffy, with light drizzle and thunder in the background. The entire round was foggy but the rain left us alone. This course has about 4 holes laid out back and forth in a big field including the 1st hole, but this is not the norm. After that the course moves through wooded and rocky terrain with a nice mix of 3's, 4's and 5's. Most holes are moderate length to short. We played blue tees at about 6300 yards. Definitely play them up as fairways are spotty and a mix of grass and weeds (typical or municipal courses in the spring). Most greens were ok, but a few spotty.
Staff?
I rated the Staff and Off Course Amenities as 3 because they were not applicable. Just like the online and email information advised, there was no staff at the course. In fact, I didn't see the off duty police officer that I thought was going to be there to keep any problems with guests under control. Fortunately, I saw no guest issues to control.
Recommend stressing on your emails and on the site, that if players will want food or drink, they'll need to bring their own as these are not available on site. Also, since there are no carts, players should be reminded to bring wheeled push carts for their clubs if they do not want to carry their clubs. Speaking of which, I further recommend when the staff returns separate (lower) pricing for those who'd rather walk their rounds.
Overall, I'm glad there is a nice course available for play relatively close to SA. And, RCGC is a nice course.
Not sure it was worth the drive
Course was in okay shape... needed mowing and upkeep. Greens were below avg. at best... Walked the course today and have ridden in the past, but not sure I would make the trip to the course again. Even at$ 30.00 a round for walking, I didn't think it was a good value for the money. Staff was extremely friendly..
Nice Surprise!
Course was in better condition than anticipated. Greens were very well maintained...good surprise experience since I haven’t played here in years.
Love it here, Hate condition
I grew up in Spring Branch and move coming back out here but the condition of tee boxes, fairways and greens is bad bad and bad. Sorry!!
Eddie
Course was in sad shape including fairways and greens. Will not return! Course Marshals were rude, a nice gesture when you should have a diplomatic attitude for wanting return customers. To many good courses around to waste your time and money on this one.
Not kid friendly and poor overall conditions
Not a place to take your son learning to play golf. The warden of the course came by us several times telling us to keep up the pace with the groups. Also several older men gave us attitude. Told them I would not be returning. Remember this is a great game!
Enjoyable
Firstly, the scenery and multitude of live oaks is wonderful. Grass is a little sparse on some fairways and greens were not bad for winter conditions. Good value for the money.
