Falling off steeply behind the green, the par-4 first hole may cause agony should you end up in this area (unless you pitch the ball like Matt Kuchar). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Hitting the green at the third, a par-4 that runs 367 yards, is made more difficult by its elevated surface–sitting well above the fairway. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

The magnificent sixth hole is both a beauty and a beast. It plays downhill off the tee, then straight uphill to this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Your tee shot at nine must traverse a pond to reach the perched green at this par-3 of 182 yards. A pair of swans graces the pond itself. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Seen here in the late afternoon, this is the par-5 fifteenth. It is the longest three-shotter on the course at 554 yards. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2025

Check out that green! Photo submitted by bluechel on 09/23/2019
Beautiful scenery; wonderful course
This is a wonderful, very open course. We very much enjoyed playing Crown Point. This course offers a good challenge without being overly frustrating to the not-so-great golfer, like myself. Nice to be able to play 18 holes without worrying about losing a dozen golf balls.
Great Value
Great fall golf today - only issue was the pace and the group in front of us.
Fantastic Experience
Best birthday gift I could have given myself for my son and me! Great people, great fun! Big vistas.
Nice course in a beautiful setting
Course in good, not great condition. Very hilly, with many difficult lies during the round. Fairways were open. The views of the mountains were excellent.
Best deal around
Crown Point was the perfect place to play. I would recommend playing here to anyone.
Mixed Bag
The course was fun in the way hilly Vermont tracks are, but the conditions were not that great. Fairways burnt in places and some greens damaged/sandy. I was playing by myself but couldn't get through the three groups in front of me because it was some kind of outing. That was just bad luck, but since the day was so nice weather wise it was fine waiting. If conditions had been anything but, I would have been more annoyed. Could have played in 3 hours but because of the waiting was 4+, which was still not that bad.
Worth a play
Came here for my first time today. Played 9 holes in 1 hour with a cart. Greens were in rough shape and seem almost dead. Other than that the course was in great shape! The fairways were very nice. An average golfer should not worry about losing a golf ball here.
A cart is not needed!
Fun course to play and I will come back!
Course was in great shape and it’s nice to be able to go to their restaurant after for a cold one.
Great Course!
Windy, and rolling hills, made for a challenging round. Course was in good shape so early in the season. Some greens took a little winter damage, but grounds crew was on it. Can't wait to play again deeper into the season.
Great mountain course!
The day I played it was still too wet to get the mowers out. Stay out of the rough or you’ll spend some time looking for your ball. The course played long with a lot of up- hill approach shots, mostly over 175 yards with plenty of sand traps around the greens. Awesome views!! Can’t wait to play again after the superintendent does his magic! Didn’t hang out after the round to check out the dinning amenities... next time!
Decent value in golf now
Course needs work. Greens and fairways with dead grass. Looks like mower leaking hydraulic fluid on several holes. Sand traps need rain packed sand and ruts tilled up.
Nice course. Not as good condition when I played there last year.
Stay out of sand traps. Rock hard packed sand. Too much dead grass on greens.
Great day to be out on the course
Couldn't ask for anything better. Conditions were great and pace of play was excellent. Finished in 3-1/2 hours. Would have been faster if I had played better. Staff, as usual, were courteous and friendly.
Slow day
Course, staff, conditions excellent. However, pace of play was extremely slow due to two groups of out-of-staters ahead of us that were supposedly playing scramble. 2nd group would not let us play through at 10th tee while 2 in group were getting something to eat. Other groups were backed up behind us as we all waited for these people to play. Very aggravating!
A pleasure to play
This course is a pleasure to play. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the layout has some challenging holes that will appeal to many experienced golfers. We visited during a dry spell but the greens were in great shape with only a few brown areas in the fairways. We played 18 at a leisurely pace and finished in under four hours.
The course has many wide open fairways but also a few interesting doglegs. Club House staff was terrific, and the beer cold! The end of a perfect day
