About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Needs a little tlc.
Course was in decent shape. Bunkers need more sand ( if your going to have bunkers maintain them) a few greens were in bad shape. Overall pretty good course. .

Good course but needs many updates.
When were the rest rooms out on the course last updated or even thoroughly cleaned for cobwebs and bugs let alone painted?
Many of the areas just off the cart paths are rough and bare of any semblance of grass. These things are so obvious I am surprised that the course manager hasn’t already addressed these issues.

Nice Course- Great value
This the best round this year. Good pace. Greens were fast and smooth.

Overcharged by golf course
I reserved a foursome on the Golfnow website for $39.00 per golfer. Payment was due at the course.
When we arrived and paid, we were informed the cost was $43.00 plus change per golfer. I asked why the difference and was told, "That is what the computer tells me".
The Golfnow email stated that tax was included in the online price of $39.00. What was the course collecting additional money for?
Maybe it was a fuel surcharge for the electric carts!
Enjoyed the golf because who I was playing with but we all agreed what the course did was wrong but not totally unexpected from them.

Very nice!
Great shape. Only issues were some of the bunkers. Really only because they were wet. A VERY positive and fun experience.

King’s Island “The Grizzly “
Everyone in our foursome had a great time. This is a difficult golf course. Many of the greens have bunkers front and back. The staff is always friendly. The course isn’t in the best shape yet because it’s still early. Spring.

Horrible
This place has has gone WAY down hill. This is a Golden Bear course right next to where they host the W&S Tennis Tournament; You would think they would keep up with it much better. The staff is absolutely terrible and extremely rude.
When I used to play this course 5-10 years ago it was great but now it’s just HORRIBLE don’t waste the money.
