About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Winter play
It was a cool winter day in which we tee'd off at 37 degrees. It was breezy but not windy and temp rose to 50 by back nine. The course was a little soft as expected but otherwise in great shape considering it was early February.
Nice course
The course was in good shape and the pace of play was good. Another good day at the golf course with friends!
Had higher expectations for a former PGA course
Guy at the check-in turned us off right from the get go. Acted as if it was Donald Trumps private country club. Course was in decent condition for January. Have to admit, not a big fan of the course. We typically play Elks Run in Batavia for same cost and the courses don’t even compare. I expected the course to be nicer for a former PGA course (70s). I will say though, their golf carts were amazing. New and the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in for a golf cart!!!

Course is under repair . New irrigation . Tee boxes and fairways thin . Greens in great condition .Looking foward to course conditions in spring .

Waste of $55 not worth the extended time of play
Pace of play was terrible. We were on the 1st tee box when a group of 5 roll up saying they were the 930 tee time and it was 10:00 already. The starter let them play in ahead of us even they were 5some and 30 minutes late.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Nice Course
Really nice public course. With the most friendly and enjoyable Course Ranger around. You’re appreciated Mr. Reed!
Course not worth the money anymore
This course has gone downhill over the past few years. One of the holes was completely closed. Two more holes were being worked on with construction equipment running down the side of the hole. Course layout is very confusing with construction and lack of proper direction markers. Didn't hear the severe weather alarm at all when a thunderstorm rolled through. Won't be going back to the course anytime soon.
