About
The Grizzly Course is a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and Desmond Muirhead. Since opening in 1972, this challenging layout has been host to numerous PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA events. The golf course features long, curvy fairways lined with towering trees and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. The three final holes feature water hazards, which are also accompanied by a difficult array of bunkers. It offers a fair amount of difficult holes but overall the course is playable for a range of skill levels, which is why it is an appealing layout for tournaments. In addition to the two courses, the Golf Center also boasts an 11,000-square foot putting green and an Academy Course with four championship holes.

Tee Off did me wrong
1} Tee time was for 10:50 -- tee off conformation said 11:50 Course had no tee time for me and wanted me to pay again.. I showed that I had paid tee off so they cimped my round. I had to wait for an opening to play.

Best value in greater Cincinnati
If you’re new to Cincinnati, and looking for a reasonably, priced round of golf, put the grizzly on your list. When I have friends in from out of town and we play there, they are shocked at the quality of the course as relates to the greens fees. It does get a lot of clay so pace of play can be a challenge at times. Check it out.

Greens are horrible
Greens were aerated 12 days earlier but doesn’t seem like they have been rolled . They had new irrigation and drainage systems replaced last year and hearing they are having issues with that . That being said dandelions all over the place , which you would think that would be an easy fix. Bunkers need some TLC . Greens just appear to be unhealthy.

Great staff
First of all I understand slow play this time of year due to an absolutely gorgeous spring day. course is having some waterline updates so one hole was under construction. Course in good shape but the incredible staff including pro Andy Horn makes sure you are greater professionally and all the staff made sure all golfers were ready to go. Highly recommend this place as a go to course all year long.

Winter play
It was a cool winter day in which we tee'd off at 37 degrees. It was breezy but not windy and temp rose to 50 by back nine. The course was a little soft as expected but otherwise in great shape considering it was early February.
Nice course
The course was in good shape and the pace of play was good. Another good day at the golf course with friends!
Had higher expectations for a former PGA course
Guy at the check-in turned us off right from the get go. Acted as if it was Donald Trumps private country club. Course was in decent condition for January. Have to admit, not a big fan of the course. We typically play Elks Run in Batavia for same cost and the courses don’t even compare. I expected the course to be nicer for a former PGA course (70s). I will say though, their golf carts were amazing. New and the most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in for a golf cart!!!
