Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course

Played on Friday right after the rain stopped. The course was wet, but well drain with no standing water. The course was in very good overall condition, with the greens being slow due to the rain earlier in the day.

No Marshall, terrible pace of play, left after 12 holes, greens were HORRIBLE, guy in pro shop messed up my transaction, starter did a poor job in pairing me (a single) up.goose droppings alllll over the course, bad smell overall, Wont be back.

Solid course in good shape, was fun. Range balls a bit beat up but overall a great value.

Played 9 holes of golf, walking., late in the afternoon.
Great course to walk and all conditions were great. Would definitely do it again.

They need to remove alot of the animals on this course. There is alot of of deer poo on the fairways and greens that your ball rolls through, or you end up stepping in.

Fun layout course, definately satisfied the urge. kind of wet and some holes were underrepair...

Booked 9 holes as a single. Put me out first on back nine after two hour frost delay. Great deal and fast pace of play.

Brambleton is relatively flat with some mounding, water features, and mostly large greens with few undulations. This is a parkland style course that usually plays in 4 hours or less during the week. The bar has pitchers of decent local beer for $13.50.

Riding cart is not allowed in the car park, driving range or cart pick up. You have to carry your golf bag from bag drop to cart pick up and vice versa. And the car park is in considerable distance from the bag drop area and as well from the cart pick up area. I have professional cart golf bag making it carry a fair distance to load it to the cart or bag drop area.
The policy did not consider the the customer.

Fairway is good condition but green speed is little bit slow for low handicapper.
Course design is simple but not boring.

The golf course has change in the last three years for better. It is in great condition. This is a best value for the money.

Brambleton has always been a well maintained and moderately challenging every-day course with generally reasonable fees and friendly staff. Brother, son and I play Brambleton frequently and have never been disappointed.

Nothing spectacular , but very solid value for the money,. A course that justifies return visits.

Course was in great condition and the weather extremely kind. Initially play was slowed by an enthusiastic but wayward shooting foursome. Once we played through we were able to keep to our own preferred pace. A couple of old timers behind clearly had difficulty seeing as they hit over us at one point! I like the course for its convenience and will continue to make use of it over others in the area.

I played brambleton with three friends recently and found it to be in excellent condition. We played the White tees and it was a fair test for our skill level. Fairways are in great condition and the rough off the fringe of the greens was challenging. Unlike some courses the sand traps were consistent ( mostly observed this from the lies of my playing partners. Likewise the greens were fair and true.

Overall this course is well run, cared for, and a good value for the money.

Course was not too crowded considering the Holiday. It was in very good shape. Pace of play was normal.

The course this year is in great shape. The rough was a little tall on a few holes but still playable. Greens were in great shape as well. I've never had a bad experience here since I've played.

Hadn't played Brambleton in a couple years not for any reason other than it being far from where I lived. Now that I'm closer will probably put it in my regular rotation. The course was in excellent condition, especially for mid-July. Lush fairways and greens. Some bunkers looked better than others. Teeing areas were average but healthy.

This course is not very tough with slope topping out in the mid-120's. Basically every hole is "what you see is what you get" except for #5 which is just a quirky hole that demands a 175-190 yard shot to a directional flag as the hole makes almost a 90* dogleg left. Otherwise, the course sets up nicely. The rough is thick but not overly long. Pace of play for two people behind a slow threesome was still only 4 hours on a Friday afternoon.

Brambleton is comparable to its sister course Algonkian. If only you could combine Algonkian's Back 9 with Brambleton's Back 9, you'd have the makings or a really interesting 18 holes. Overall, this a good track for average golfers but will leave single digit handicappers wanting more.
