Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course

The course layout is well designed and the variety and placement of tee boxes accommodates either players seeking a challenge or the weekend "Play it Forward" golfers.
A couple of the greens need attention but overall the course is well maintained. Club drop off and parking are easy, club house is in a nice location and well kept, driving range and practise putting green easy to access. Great value for the money.

Greens and fairways were in great shape. We did not wait at all once we got started.

I enjoyed this round but pace of play was very slow due to one group for the first 13 holes. At one point on a par 5 the slow group was hitting their 2nd shot on the fairway,, a single was on the forward tee, our threesome on the back tee and the next foursome on the cart path waiting by us. That was what I call slow play. As soon as we complained to a course employee someone came out and got the problem solved. This problem was one group but did not ruin the experience because of course conditions and the other members of my group.

Good course for the money in the area. Pace of play was a little over 4 1/2 hours, so not aweful, but could have been better. Overall would give the course a 3 1/2, but that wasn't a choice.

Good course, but pace of play, for a Monday, extremely slow.

Maintained pretty well, especially for late-August. It was a little bit on the slow side, but to be fair most courses in the Northern VA are. Staff was friendly, but unfortunately there was no beverage cart available. All in all, a good experience.

I have played this course four or five times and it is very consistent. The course is well maintained but not great. It has a good layout that gives you a variety of holes and requires you to use most of the clubs in your bag. Price is always fair. This round I paid $22 for 18 and a cart on a hot deal with golfnow. Full price is still a good price for the course.

Brambleton, I haven't played you in years....you're still a good test of golf although you have a slope of 126, you still need to hit the ball well here to score. Very good design with a lot of dog legs which make a course fun to play. I will be back. Starters, as with most course, are not to savy to keep things on time or pairing up singles.

Always enjoy playing at Brambleton. Course always well maintained and staff friendly. Only caveat, Marshall inserted his friends in front of us at the tenth tee. There was no one waiting at the first tee and we were keeping up with the group in front of us. Consequently, it slowed down play for us. we were a threesome and they a twosome. One gentleman continuously hit more than one ball.

A very nice course with challenging but fair holes. Greens had some trouble areas but not too many for the recent weather. Rough was high and very "sticky." Mowing would have helped.

All in all, a great public course and a real value for the money.

This course has grown up and matured well since I saw it last. It is in very nice condition, and is a value for daily fee courses.

The course has a good layout. A little course management will help improve your scores. Greens were in great shape. Most greens were relatively flat (not much break).

On a scale of 1 - 10, I'd probably rate this course at a 5/6. Most of the fairways were in good shape, however there were a few greens that needed some attention. Geese are a problem on a couple of holes as well.
For the money we payed, it was more than adequate. Played better, and I've played worse.

A well maintained regional parks course that can be challenging. Always a good round of golf for a decent price.

We arrived shortly before our tee time and got right onto the course. The course was in great shape and we did not have anyone in front of us and no one pushed us from behind. It was an awesome day, a perfect day for golf.

For folks that are local to Brambleton, it is a pretty good test of golf for not a lot of cash. Greens rolled true, and all other greens areas were in good shape.

For a park course that likely gets a pretty high volume of golfers of all levels, the rough could be toned down a bit to make balls more findable, or playable, but overall a good day of golf.

Nice course, well maintained and a helpful friendly staff! Will play again!

Brambleton isn't the nicest or most expensive course around but it's far from cheap 'n ugly. The course is usually in very good condition and pace of play no worse than average.

The front 9 starts you off pretty easy and in fact I would consider #6 the only challenging hole on the front half. But the back 9 will tear you up if you are not careful. It's nicely supplemented with some fun holes, like a driveable dog-leg par 4 on the front, and a mid-length Par 3 over water on the back.

The greens are above average in speed but not blazing fast. Woods or water come into play on many holes, so make sure you hit your tee shot straight. If you do, this course will play a lot easier.

The staff is acceptable but not remarkably friendly, the amenities are standard for the course. Getting a good GolfNow deal is key, but it's nice that if you are on a budget, you can opt out of playing with a cart and they have not one but two twilight rates.

All-in-all a very good course, one of my favorites in the area, comparable to Herndon Centennial.
