Poor greens and rude staff/members

Got paired with a 3some of guests and played in 3 and a half hours. Was called out for playing slow by the group behind us and had the Marshall come out even though we finished in under 4 hours. Stuffy place without any luxury.

The greens were the slowest greens I’ve played in Virginia and the round was $80.

They think they’re something they’re not. Do not recommend.

Good round

Staff friendliness excellent. Course layout ok, a lot of side hills make for some holes where you can't miss fairways and greens. Fairways too brown. Greens very good.

Just okay

Got there an hour early to check in and hit some range balls … range is kinda tore up. After, went to chip … chipping / putting green was okay. Originally the golf pro checked me in. After practicing I went in and the shop attendant was there. He was grumpy and didn’t hear a word I had to say about having already checking in and the pro telling me that he had me paired up with a twosome. Right at my tee time I asked the older, grumpy shop attendant what was going on and he argued that he didn’t check me in and he didn’t know what I was talking about. I explained that is because he was busy being a grump and didn’t listen to me when I tried explaining the first time. Ultimately, I just went out and started playing. Monday / Tuesday no hot dogs, food, service. Course was kinda chopped up and not well maintained, but it had some fun elevations. Overall, this course was average with a grumpy attendant who appeared to not care about the ppl paying to golf there.

A really fun course to play. Lots of unique looks. Greens are in good shape. Tee boxes were a bit so so. Some work being done on the bunkers. Overall a positive experience

Overpriced and in Bad Shape

The layout was average at best. Some very goofy holes with bad layouts. Fairways were below average, the tee boxes were lacking grass. Greens were decent.

Staff was friendly and beers were cheap. $5 for 20 range balls and $10 for 40.

Worth $35-45 not $60
