The Hollows Golf Club - Lake/Cottage
About
Hollows Golf Club boasts three unique nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. Conveniently, the greens fees are applicable all day, which gives you the opportunity to try out all three. The nines: Cottage, Lake, and Road, are varied enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The Lake/Cottage combination features the most water of the three golf courses. The Lake nine wraps around a massive lake, the centerpiece of the 27-hole course. There are also a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine. The Cottage nine only has water on the third hole but this tough par 3 leaves a lasting impression. It is the Cottage's signature hole that not only features water but also an 8-foot deep bunker on the left.

Good playable layouts and value!!
Very playable courses 3-9 holes options.
I know they keep trying to make improvements but it’s seems to be so slow in completing the much needed conditions improvements. Many greens have scarring in turf, massive amounts of deadfall trees/brush piles need removal, redesigning and enlarging of practice putting area and cleaning up of entryway (cluttered and unfinished looking). Value was a big part of likability however, they have increased cost as if all improvements have been done!
Pretty good overall
Played the Lake/Road combo yesterday. Tee boxes a little rough. Fairways mostly ok, call it a B-. Greens looked really nice, just on the slow side, though they rolled pretty well and held their lines. For the drought conditions, not bad.
Great Little Course
The course was well maintained and the staff were very friendly. We played 9 holes on the Lakes course, and the maintenance guy was out there on the greens checking on things, watering. The cart paths are gravel, but it's a charming course and we can't wait to go back!
Course has improved
This track has improved considerably over the last couple years. Greens and fairways are now in good shape. Tee boxes and cart path aren't great, but I'd rather a course put $ into where the ball lands.
Needs rain badly
Like most courses in area. In bad need of water
Tee box so hard to get tee in ground
Greens bumpy and hard. Rain
Fairways hard. If water out of lakes is not put on fairways there might not be any fairways this summer
Not much different than other public courses in area
I'll be back after it rains. A lot
Goat patch
The place was a goat patch. Not worth the money you pay for 9 let alone 18. Fairways were awful. Greens were ok with some dead spots. Avoid this dump if you can
Best Conditions of the Year, Go Play!
Was a Member here in 2001 and course is much improved after 25 years!
Deb at the Restaurant is a Peach who always makes you feel welcome & appreciated!
Look, its not Kinloch, The Foundry, Federal Club or even Providence, but 27 holes of decent conditions force you to play every club in your bag!
Go Play!
Always fun and playable course!!
Owner/team have put a lot of effort in improvements and cleaning up the course overall. Still could use better putting green, welcoming landscaping and newer carts but the 3 separate 9 holes will keep your interest without frustrating you regardless of skill level.
Greens Aerated and Sandy
Range was open. Bathroom refurbished which was way overdue. Greens aerated and in bad shape. Needed to be watered in85 degree heat. Kids playing multiple balls slowing downplay. Dramatically. Some holes nicely refurbished and many trees taken down in past year.
Hollows golf
Its in my back yard and ive played it 100 times. Greens are a bit rough this time of year but not bad. Its the most economical course around and its a good layout.
Anthony
This place is amazing. Great layout and overall a pleasure to play specially for the price
