Chapel Hill Golf Course
About
Located just northeast of Columbus, Chapel Hill Golf Course has a central location that makes it easily accessible. Its affordable rates make it doubly appealing. The course was designed with players of all skill levels in mind with four sets of tees and some fairways that are open and others that are carved from the forests. The layout tumbles across rolling hills that provide interesting elevation changes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. There are water hazards coming into play on seven holes. There are some notably challenging holes including the par-4 ninth, but the seventh and 11th are the golf course's signature holes. Built on the site of the former Mount Vernon Bible College, the old chapel now provides a unique clubhouse for the course.

Beautiful setting
For a public golf course this is a five star.Very scenic golf course with nice elevation changes ..45 minute drive from Worthington but well worth the drive.
Great hilly course
My wife and I live in Columbus Ohio where most courses are flat. We wanted to play a course with hills, mainly for the experience for when we play our brother in-laws courses in PA. Chapel Hill did not disappoint! It is a very nice, well maintained course with lots of undulation. The layout is very nice and the views are beautiful. We especially liked the back nine. Will definitely go back.
Beautiful design, great condition
This was my first time playing the course. Great layout with plenty of rolling hills which you don’t get much of in Ohio. Loved the golf course, fairways and greens were in great condition. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely return!
Chapel hill was heating up
I a great afternoon at CH. took the opportunity of a good golfnow $ and playing with an old friend at his home course. The course was in great shape. Some of the traps were barely playable, but could still be played. Have heard the greens were a little slow but seemed just fine for me. You need to pay attention to the course layout on the scorecard, there are some creeks that come into play but are blind from the tee. We played in 90* temps.
Just an amazing place!!
Gonna keep it short and sweet! One of the best courses around!! All around perfection!! Everyone I talked to was very friendly!
Blown Away
Absolutely unbelievable course for the money. A little drive from north side of Columbus but well worth it. Pace of play was great, GPS in the carts, friendly staff, course was in great shape and honestly fairly challenging/unique without ever feeling frustrated.
Can't believe it's taken me this long to play here but will be back.
1st Time at Chapel Hill
Well, I finally broke 100. On a tough course too. A 43 on the back 9 was no piece of cake. The course is very hilly and scenic, and was in great condition. It was worth the drive from Columbus. However, the pace of play for a Saturday morning was pretty slow. It took us about 3 hours to get through the front 9 as we were behind a younger couple learning to play. The back 9 went much faster as a few groups left after the front 9. This is NOT a course to take your beginner friends, yet it seems like a lot of people in the area do anyways, according to some of the locals. Too many jams at tee boxes and greens because foursomes are playing faster than pairings. They could really benefit from a ranger, but oh well, it's public golf. I'll play this course again on a weekday. Hopefully there's no wait at every tee next time. I'd still recommend you give it a shot, as it's a great track with a neat clubhouse.
Beautiful course
Amazing rolling hills layout with beautiful views and scenery. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Very quiet course as well. Only issue we had was the pace of play on the front 9. terrible. This is not a course where you should learn to play golf, nor should you bring anyone that can't hit their ball off the tee. I think we were backed up 4-5 holes because of a twosome learning to play. I would've liked a Marshall to enforce pace of play, other than than that, it's a great course and I'd recommend playing a round outside of a Saturday, or anywhere when it's less busy Will play this course again, albeit another day of the week.
