The Rockland Farm Course at Shenandoah Valley

Scenic, well kept golf course. Prices can't be beat!

What a great find! I played here a couple of weeks ago and came back out this weekend. With all the rain the fairways were a little long and the rough was thick but the greens are fabulous. The layout maybe a little short but the elevation changes and doglegs make a very fun course. Definitely a must play.

Beautiful course nestled against the Blue Ridge mountains. Very scenic, very affordable and excellent staff.

The course is not difficult unless you find your way into the trees which line every fairway. The fairways are generous and have great elevation changes and undulations. The greens are fantastic and would be better if others would would repair ball marks.... very sad that people are so lazy. The only negative remarks I have involve the tee boxes. They are hard as rocks and it almost took a hammer to get tees in the ground, you pretty much had to use wooden tees because plastic would just bend. They had quite a few in need of some tender care as they were sparse and beat up. Overall I loved the course, it was a fun and a great value!

Though there was a million cars in the parking lot, the course felt empty as usual. Price is always a bargain too!

I play a lot of golf as a single. I have always joined other golfers who have been an enjoyment to play a round of golf with.

the course was in excellent condition for the rain we had the week before. It was a beautiful day and the course was not crowded.

the course needed mowed. other than that it was not to bad.

The course was in good shape overall.The rough was a little high for my liking but understandably so from all the recent rain with hardly no time to mow.

Played the course for the first time on Saturday. Pace of play was very good. Never waited to play the next hole and finished in record time. Greens were good and fair. A little slow but being the first time I was happy with the conditions. Will definitely go back!

Loved the time at Bowling Green south! Weather was awesome. The course was in great shape and the greens , although I’m far from great, played well. Pace of play was flowing, and the staff very welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

We had a tee time at 12:22p. We arrived about an hour early and hit range balls. When we arrived we were told they were out of carts but once they came available we would get one and go out. Almost 45 minutes after our team time we received our carts . We watched at least 4 foursomes replay 18 and keep their carts and jumped right in front of us. Why there was no respect for the scheduled tee times is beyond me. Staff didn't seem to care and made comments ranging from "this is what happens when it's a nice day" to "those guys will play all day". They had to go ahead and get carts from the North Course which we appreciated however we were very frustrated with the lack of respect of tee times. Good luck if you play on a busy weekend.

The course was in great condition compared to other public courses I have recently played. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

The fairways and greens were acceptable. Improved from previous years. The sand traps were not good, lack of real sand, more grainy and clay content. The driving range leaves a lot to be desired!!!!! No putting practice green is a real drawback!!!!!
