The Rockland Farm Course at Shenandoah Valley

Bowling Green South is a great place to play and very much worth the hour drive getting there. Amazingly the greens are almost flawless every time I play there. Each fairway is marked by huge trees that enhance the overall appearance of the course. Cart paths are sparse and traps could use a consistent amount of sand. But that doesn't detract from all the pluses.

The course is in good shape. Not a high end course and an easy to play course. Straight on most holes. For the $20 I spent it was great to play here.

Really enjoyed our round on Monday. The course was in very good condition with a few spots that had ground under repair. Greens were in great shape.

My husband and I live in Woodbridge VA and we like the course so much that we travel at least one hour and some minutes to play over there. We like both courses. .

The course is not the fanciest course, but it's great for the money. They've recently really upgraded the tee boxes and the fairways are always very nice. The rough is usually pretty tall, and there isn't much for cart paths. That being said it usually plays through very quick and is a very easy, straight course. Great value. I love coming here

The staff and owners have been investing in the course. Removing some sand traps, improving greens and tee boxes.

The weather was perfect! The pace of play was good until the last few holes, but all in all it was a fun course to play and a fine time was had by all.

A relatively easy course, which is generally in good condition and well maintained. There is a variety to the holes and the price is reasonable.

Took my wife out to the course. She is a beginner and was a little hesitant to be around a lot of other golfers. The pace of play was fantastic and we let a few groups play through. Each hole seemed secluded in that we had plenty of privacy and she did not feel pressured, even though the course was full of players. The fairways were well maintained and the staff and other players were kind and courteous. Will definitely return.

course was in best condition i've seen in years...greens and fairways in immaculate shape...even rough was playable..great value for the money especially through golfnow...greens rolled true staff was friendly and grounds crew very courteous if they were near you and you were ready to play unlike most courses...i'd recommend this course if you want a nice relaxing round of golf...chances to score good on holes or really whack you with errant tee shots and approaches..
