Great course
Great course. A bit rough on the fringe and the carr paths are tough to follow for a new player but the course itself is an absolute blast! Takes a smart club selection to score well. The greens were recently punched by roll true and consistant. Cant wait to go back and play for the second time. The number 1 handicap hole is legit. The food is on point as well. Great drinks, great food and a great course
Mountain View
Outstanding Coarse first outing here since 2015
Can’t get enough of the Mountain View’s wish I lived closer to coarse cuz I would definitely make it my home coarse.
recreation day
a day to get out and play a round of golf with my wife and 2 best friends a little windy but tem wasn't to bad course was in pretty good shape a lot of branches and sticks laying around greens were good and fast had a great time thanks Staff and ground workers!!!!!!!!
Nice course
This is a very nice course. The layout is a challenging one. Need to play carefully.
Poor condition
They were in the process of aeration, so didn’t get to play all 18 holes. The areas surrounding the greens were totally unkept. Hard to chip due to bare spots. The carts had gps which is nice but also made it difficult to drive due to motor shutting down if you go too close to fairway and the cart paths weren’t marked visibly.
Good relaxing day
Boogie golf on a warm sunny March aft.
Just what I needed with the Pandemic going on..
course has good values
good layout. good landscape between holes. great staff. the carts need replaced.love the course.
this course needs more money put in to the up keep.
Skirts around greens are in really bad shape. Cart paths are in poor shape as well. staff was very friendly and very helpful. food at snack bar was very good.
Course in great shape
Had a frost delay got a late start but pace of play was great. Course and green in great place. In the winter and late fall ,we travel about 60 miles to play the courses at Bowling Green as well as the. Other courses in the Front Royal area. All the courses are in great shape.the south course is tighter than the North and today stumbled on one hole and pulled 2 shots out of Bounds and stilled shot an 82.
Awesome Course
Great course to play at. Some challenging holes but overall its friendly course. The staff is great and very helpful. The food is also very great!!!
South Course
Excellent layout and great diversity from hole to hole. Very friendly to the beginner/intermediate golfer with it wide fairways and open aspect to the course. Would play here daily if I could.
Rough end to summer
Course is usually good value. Greens were recently punched and they hadn’t cut the greens in 3-4 days when I played. Completely lost all green surrounds. Hopefully they get some rain soon so conditions can come back for the fall.
Good value for the money
Greens were aerated but not in good shape overall. Fairways okay, lots of weeds but the course is okay.
Bang for your buck
Course is a bit choppy, needs some TLC, BUT a good value. Either folks don’t know etiquette, or the course was busy and we were stacked. Good course for beginners.
Course is in great shape!
97 degrees today but it was still a great round. Course is in excellent shape.
Great value
Short but challenging. The layout is good, but the greens must see a ton of play. They are pretty beat up. Very dry in places but that should be expected in mid July. The rough is tall and thick. Overall good course and great value. Would play it again if back in the area!
Play the course
I joined the course and drove the 40 miles to play and got on immediately. Played in 3 hours and had 3 twosomes ahead of me...try doing that on anyother course lol. Great course...greens great shape, fairways great even after a rain storm the night before. Chef Vito was a great guy for a meal afterward. I am really trying to find anything that wasnt great but even my parking space was in the shade...
