Mediocre
Employee in the clubhouse was a grade-A pr1ck, and a number of the fairways were in rough shape. However, the hot dog on the turn was actually alright, so shoutout to the guy working in the kitchen.

Always a great value course! Beautiful views add to the overall fun experience. Only downside is pin placements are always tough, no flat putts can be frustrating to the Sunday hacker. ..we are not professional golf players so please keep that in mind when cutting holes.

Always challenging, fun, and enjoyable. Personnel from check-in to grill extremely gracious and friendly. A one- hour drive from Chantilly that always results in an outing that never disappoints, regardless of my score!

Fun Place to Play
This course has a nice layout and is challenging enough to make it fun! You have scoring opportunities and on some holes you only think you do! Greens were in good shape and rolling nice!

Tee to Greens
Rock hard. Do you enjoy the necessity of needing to land every approach shot 10-15 yards short so you can stick the ball on the back of the green? If yes then this is the course for you!!! Keep in mind night time temps never got below freezing and out door temps were at 60 (better than we deserve in mid December). The ground from tee to greens was rock hard. Feet slipping on tee shots balls bouncing and running out further than normal. Good off the teeing ground but actively avoiding shots that would land on the green is a miserable way to play golf. No matter how much spin you impart on the ball the greens are unholdable. Even chipping and pitching around the greens was miserable. I personally will not play here again until the rock hard conditions have been addressed. Without knowing for sure it seems like an aerification rotation was missed and it has rendered the course unplayable.

Fast Greens Long Rough
The course layout was interesting. Never like blind tee shots, there were three or 4 blind tee shots. The builtin cart GPS shows the carts in front of you which helps. The carts they have are the most comfortable ones I have ever ridden in ( very nice cushioned form fitting seats.
The rough was long every where which made it hard to find balls and very hard to play out of. The greens were way to fast for a course like this. I had a Tee Times book discount so I am not complaining too much but you have to slow the greens for this course!!! The proshop adjusted my round to the Tee time discount because I had made the reservation late the night before using their online capability which was for a $38 round. We discussed their policy and I will call next time . They said I could have called and left a message and that would have worked but I didnt know that. So Great job by the pro shop employees to make me more than happy. Cut the rough and slow the greens. Ill be back. Also I played with some locals who knew the course and were very friendly and pleasant to play with ( Keith and Toby).
