The 14th - a nice short par 3 with a tricky green. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019

The 17th - probably my favorite hole on the course. Photo submitted by GolferJake78 on 03/01/2019
A Real Gem - One of the Best in the Area
This course is probably in the best shape of any of the 10 or so courses I've played in the Northern Virginia area (though admittedly I haven't played some of the higher end courses here), especially for the price. Fairways and greens were pristine, though the latter are a little slow. Lots of good food and drink options at the clubhouse. Very walkable course that plays very short with wide fairways and is therefore excellent for beginners. There are a number of nearly reachable Par 4s and easily scorable Par 5s. Note that the white tees are the ladies' tees. The only disappointment for me is that I did not discover this course earlier. Highly recommend for everyone, but especially those looking to gain some confidence on the golf course.
Not bad
Course was in pretty good condition, greens were a bit slow but rolled pretty true. Nice price point, but it was pretty slow, especially for a weekday.
One of the best
Nothing has changed since I was a kid playing here...I mean that in a good way. Always in great shape, fun to play. Definitely recommend. If you haven't played it go play. Great for walking or riding.
Old Faithful
I have played Herndon many times and the course is always in great condition. The staff is very friendly and the pace of play is usually great. Given the conditions and the price this is a steal in the Northern Va area.
Herdon, Va. fun
Course in great shape, and very green. Nice couple to play with, and perfect weather.
Poor greens
Very poor greens and the practice greens didn’t even have holes. Rough all around and looks like they didn’t maintain properly through out Covid. I will not be playing here any time soon. Only thing good about this place is the food. Food is 5 stars
Fairways lush, greens smooth and a bit slow, rough is thick
Course is in excellent condition. pace of play was fantastic. 4 hour round walking @ 7:30 am
Good Choice
Played with two inexperienced members of my family. A good challenge for them because the course is pretty straightforward hazard-wise. If you play from the tips it can be challenging for any level.
Great fairways & green / friendly staff / nice club house
Great Winter Day
When the round began, the temperature was in the 30's. Some of the greens were frozen, a new challenge. Overall the course was well maintained, bunkers raked, fairways clean. By the end of the round, the sun was shining and the course was crowded but still finished our round in 3 1/2 hours. Great February day.
Herndon19
Some greens were pretty beat up. Parts of the course were damp.
