Excellent course but very busy.
This course was very well maintained. Unfortunately it was very busy for a weekday and we were constantly pushed to play a faster game than normal.
Good Fun Course
The course was in pretty good shape, but the greens had been recently punched making putting difficult. One would think there would be a discount for this, but since this is Northern Virginia, this is par for the course.
Good course overall, but not too challenging.
Nice Course Good Shape
Good course in western Fairfax County. The course was crowded for a Monday afternoon, but the paste was excellent. The course had several Marshall's patrolling, and kept everyone moving along. The staff was very friendly, and help us looked for errant shots.
Nice course with staff issues
It's a nice and fairly well maintained course, but the staff leaves something to be desired. I could care less about that, because I just went there to play golf, not to be catered to. On the other hand, it wasn't the type of experience you come away from with a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Well maintained for the amount of play it must get
Arrived and got out half an hour early. Staff was all super friendly and helpful. Course was moderately challenging and very well maintained. Marshalls were constantly checking to be sure players were happy. Helped find a ball at one point and moved a group that was a bit slow. Overall a great experience. I will go back.

Herndon Centenial is an averagly maintained course and ocassionally affordably priced.

Good course, Well maintained and great value for the money.
Very Average Municipal Course
There's really nothing to speak of with Herndon Centennial. The course has a very interesting layout, partially parkland and partially surrounded by houses. The pace of play was very good, especially for a Holiday weekend.
The course is in pretty good shape. Greens could use some reseeding for bare spots
Not a bad course. I would definitely play again and recommend to a friend!
