The Hollows Golf Club - Lake/Cottage
About
Hollows Golf Club boasts three unique nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. Conveniently, the greens fees are applicable all day, which gives you the opportunity to try out all three. The nines: Cottage, Lake, and Road, are varied enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The Lake/Cottage combination features the most water of the three golf courses. The Lake nine wraps around a massive lake, the centerpiece of the 27-hole course. There are also a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine. The Cottage nine only has water on the third hole but this tough par 3 leaves a lasting impression. It is the Cottage's signature hole that not only features water but also an 8-foot deep bunker on the left.

Fast greens
Haven't played here in five+ years, and it was a very good experience. Greens fast and in excellent shape. Course overall in very good condition. Would recommend to anyone.
Good Value for this short but interesting course.
3 different 9 hole sections, each with positive aspects. Good senior rates and discounts using Golf Now. Friendly and helpful staff. Greens are a serious challenge.
Fun day
Started late but made great time. Course was nice layout and great price . Tees, fairways and greens all in good shape. Small greens and tough to hold on a very windy day. Burger was excellent and friendly staff.
Solid Course
I played the Cottage and Road courses which were in great shape despite a lot of recent rain. The greens had recently been punched - but were very fast despite that. The staff is always great - and the restaurant/bar is excellent.
i love the greens
course was in good shape. i wish when they mowed the fairways they would not leave chucks of grass there, but that is just being picky. the GREENS are always in great shape. they are smooth and not bumpy, thus giving you a true role. enjoy.
Fun Course To Play
I always enjoy playing this course. Forces you to use course management skills and ball placement.
Player beware
I have played this course a few times due to a low cost round. Got this round last minute because some buddies wanted to go out. Do not play this course on the weekend. Very poorly managed grouping on the three nines and the Marshall's do nothing but ride around and talk. Greens were decent but the rest of the course is poorly maintained. One lady runs the food service by herself, it's very slow. If you can find this course for twenty dollars on a weekday then go for it. Do not make the same mistake I did and pay forty dollars for a Sunday noon tee time. The pace of play is painfully slow. This course has really fallen off.
Short but challenging
Great staff and the course was well maintained. Only complaint was slow play...not the fault of the course though just continuing to notice slow players do not allow faster players through.
Will definitely play again and again...
Very forgiving and friendly course. Went with my father, another senior, and a friend. The clubhouse and staff were suitable and accommodating. Dad liked the length and the non-too-hilly terrain from the gold tees. It was challenging yet fun for the amature player. Scenery and grounds were very nice.
A run of the mill muni typecourse
Played on a Monday after seniors groups. Lakes course more challenging than the cottage course.. No ranger, which allowed a threesome to hold up multiple groups behind them on the front nine. Back nine took less than 90 minutes. Tee boxes were so dry it was difficult to get a tee in the ground.
Lakes course far different than Cottage course
Lake course in far better shape than Cottage course. Tee boxes were rough on both, greens were very undulating and rather slow. Greens were receptive to approach shots. No ranger to control pace. A threesome had the entire Cottage nine backed up. A decent course, but, 3 stars at best.
Well maintained
As always, the course was in great shape. The greens were firm, but a well placed shot stayed on. Due to the weather (98 degrees) we practically had the place to ourselves. The constant breeze helped to make it feel cooler.
the course was a challenge
staff was friendly , I liked the cart with the G.P.S ,
the fairways and greens were in good shape
Great First Round
This was my first round of the season due to some physical issues that I had at the beginning of the year. I had a really good round and the course is in really good shape.
Course in really good shape
We played the Road and Cottage Courses. Lots of fun.
The longest round ever
We played the cottage to the lake course, and it was extremely backed up the entire round. For a course with 27 holes, they should be able to space people out better, or just don't overbook the course.
Super
One of the better courses in the area. The course was in really great shape for this early in the season. Greens were hard and fast, fairways good and rough manageable.
Fun course
Enjoyed the course. Good scenery and was kept in pretty good condition. Carts have GPS which is a nice feature.
