Bent Tree Golf Club
About
The lush, rolling terrain occupied by Bent Tree Golf Club was sculpted into one of the most popular championship golf courses in central Ohio. Dennis Griffiths, the course's architect, seamlessly blended the design with the natural features of the landscape. The abundant natural water hazards come into play on half the holes and Griffiths strategically incorporated several well placed bunkers. The terrain's gentle undulations provide some interesting slope in the greens that place a priority on accuracy. Bent Tree Golf Club's par-4 eighth hole is especially demanding. It may be short at only 334 yards but it is surrounded by bunkers on all sides. It is followed by another tricky par 4 that requires both distance and accuracy in order to navigate the tree-lined fairway uphill to an undulating green faced with bunkers to the front and back.

Grandson Day
My 12-year grandson and I had a wonderful day at Bent Tree. I will note a special recognition of the Starter who protected our time as we made the turn from the back nine to the front nine. Thanks.
Hazardous to your game
This course is great, makes you play within your abilities. Bunkers, ponds, creeks, and tee boxes. You have to play your shots almost precise, with little room for error. All I can say is if you like a nice maintained course that will challenge you....Bentree will do it and more. I look forward to many more rounds there.
Great Course, Slow Weekend Play
Course was excellent but pace of play was way too slow. Waited to hit every shot from hole 4-18, sometimes up to 20min. A lot of it had to do with a goofball in the group in front of us who played extremely slow...people need to learn how to play golf at pace or get off the course..the course needs a ranger to force the issue.
Bent Tree golf club was a visual joy from the entrance to the 19th hole on their patio overlooking the ninth green.
Bent Tree was found to be a formidable course with undulating fairways and greens kept in good condition. The course is not long, but the fairways that were not tree lined had bunkers and water strategically placed so that every shot counted. The sand was a nice fluffy type and well maintained. The water, of course was wet. The #1 handicap hole is well deserving of the ranking. The tee shot must be placed precisely in the middle or right of the fairway at 235 yards. Anywhere else is blocked or wet, then a downhill second shot of about 190 to a green with trouble left and bunkers right. All in all , a gorgeous facility and course combined with a beautiful patio to enjoy after the round.
Very nice course.)
While some holes very challenging, the overall course is forgiving to most players.
Not a good set-up on this course
The set up of the paths around the course is not good. Par 3's are cart path only. A couple of them you park 50-100 yards from the hole and walk. Not a course I will play again
Well maintained fairway and green
Played 4 times already in 2013, Well maintained fairways and greens. Some bunkers are still under construction. Joined 3 somes from Newark, OH. They have played all over Ohio course, it was fun day to play. Will come back for more rounds.
Beautiful course,very friendly staff
The golf course was in beautful shape and the staff is very Friendly, i'll certainly will be back.
Same as it always was!
Played Bent Tree for the first time in about 6 years and it hasn't changed at all. Fairly well maintained, nice greens, good bunkers with a fairly easy/playable layout. Leave the driver at home and practice your short game.
Short and Sweet
Bent Tree Golf Course offers shorter holes where in many instances you are forced to lay up and hit into an array of bunker complexes protecting the greens. Bent Tree is truly a ball placement course where distance is not a premium and that normally fits well into the Sunday hacker's game. The greens themselves where in great shape as where the fairways. I enjoyed the experience of Bent Tree that calls for accurate ball striking and many risk reward opportunities.
Get your bunkers fixed and keep up the nice work!
Really enjoy Bent Tree. Course is usually in nice shape.
Folks (golfers) need to know and understand what level of golf they play as well as those that they golf with so the pace of play stays reasonable.
Bent Tree is truly a great value for what it is.
Bent Tree is a really nice course
Very well maintained. Definitely top 10 in Columbus area.
The greens were slower and more bumpy than usual but we had heavy rain recently. They were still nice though. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You won't be disappointed.
Plan for a long day and it will be enjoyable.
Very slow. Was told there was a ranger but we never saw them. The twosome with us left after 15 holes the group behind us left after nine. Plan for a full day. The course we enjoyable but didn't expect 5+ hours.
Nice track.
Not busy at all on a Monday afternoon; played as fast as we wanted. Greens look a little splotchy but held shots and rolled true. Rough is vey lush right now. Only complaint is bunkers not well conditioned; firm, moist sand with a lot of clumping and footprints.
already in good shape
very good shape for early april. greens good speed
Great course.
Excellent shape for this time of the year. The greens were smooth and fast
We are impressed by new management team.
I have trouble to click and drag those sliders to give you a true rating. Overall the new staff were much more friendly than before. We decide to have memberhip over there after season starts.
Pack your water bottle
Course was in really good shape for being March 23 and the way the climate has not transitioned yet. Greens rolled really well and the course weathered the winter very well. Cups need cut pretty badly as I had 3 -180 roll outs, but once again it is March and the grass hasnt started growing yet, so they can't. Not the courses fault. Not sure how much I'll be playing it in prime season at $57 pop, but always a nice track and they hold some good events throughout the year. Was a very enjoyable $19 round of golf with cart on a 45 degree sunny day.
Early Season at Bent Tree
For early season, the course was in good shape. all the bridges have been repaired so you don't have to worry about your cart falling into the creeks. Speed of play was slow, almost peak season like, but that seems to be always the case at this course. But I had nothing better to do so just relaxed and enjoyed a cool but clear and sunny day.
Always a pleasure
For this time of year its a pleasure to play this course. With most of the maitanance staff laid off for the season, its pretty well maitained. It was fun and I can't wait till the summer till its back in its pristine condition.
