Hobbs Hole Golf Course

The course was preparing to host a State HS Championship in a couple of days. Greens were mowed short and fast. They were near perfect. Fairways and bunkers were in great shape also. Possibly the best condition I have ever seen in this course....and it is ALWAYS in excellent condition. Course was very busy and it created an almost 5 hour round. But, it was always in motion...did not seem like 5 hours. It was a very enjoyable day. Recommend this course to golfers of all abilities.

HH has been my go to course for almost 30 years. I love this course. I had a total knee replacement this year and this was my first time playing since May. The staff were very accommodating to give me a cart that allowed me to get closer to the greens. I was paired up with 3 other guys and we played from the gold tees. That was a first for me but I can now play there age wise and I also didn't want to stress out my new knee.

Personally, I believe what makes HH great are the greens. I don't think they've ever had bad greens and today they were running smooth and great. I will always recommend HH to friends.

Very nice place to play, staff were friendly, sand traps needed to be raked.

I’ve always loved playing this course. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. However, be warned about the carts. They have GPS trackers on them and you can be cruising along and enter a forbidden area without any warning. It would be extremely helpful if signage were posted in the forbidden areas, especially for areas that are not near the greens. . This would be extremely helpful for seniors playing this course.

The fairways were in very good shape. The front nine greens were in good shape, but the back nine saw quite a few issues with disease on the greens. It was a little frustrating that the course allowed a group of six to play in front of us, but aside from that it was a good experience.

Love the course. My only issue was we saw the beverage cart once on hole six. We were assured she would be around once more. Never saw her the rest of the round and all of the water coolers were empty the rest of the round.

The course was great. The price was nit correct. Booking online for a Sr was $59. But when we got to the course, they said it was not correct and the price was $70. We were not very happy with that.

This is a very good open course. But, right now it's in really good condition. I highly recommend making the road trip!

The course is in great shape. Greens are mowed a bit higher than the recent courses I've played, but any burnt areas due to the drought conditions are few and far between.

I recommend taking a drive and give them some business.

The gentleman in the POro shop was extremely friendly and made you feel that you were a valued customer. The course was in the best playing condition of any course I have played so far, it was ewxtremely fair and in excellent playing condition, no bare spots. The tee boxes had grass and that was a BIG plus. The rough was managable and the green medium fast. It was a pleasure golfing there on a HOTDeal. The regular Senior week day rate is a little above my comfort zone considering the length of the drive from Midlothian. This round was well worth the traveling time. I hope to be able to return depending on the greenfee cost.
