Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation I & II Course
About
LakeLand Village in Allyn, Wash. offers a 27-hole layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. It's a PGA-caliber golf course that is player friendly but still has plenty of challenges in store. The golf course is divided into three nine-hole layouts that are played in 18-hole combinations. The nines are referred to as Generation I, II, and III. Gen I and Gen II are the shorter of the three layouts and have a classic design. The undulating greens are known for being some of the best in the state, offering smooth surfaces that putt fast and true. In addition to keen short-game skills, accuracy is key on this golf course since several of the fairways are fairly narrow and there are out-of-bounds and water hazards throughout.

Golfer Reviews
Par for the course
Lakeland Village Golf Course is a 27 hole neighborhood layout design. Generations 2 & 3 seem to be the most popular. Nice easy layout without any real obstacles other than trees and homes along the fairway. I play here regularly during the summer months as the GolfNow rates are really good. Fall through spring can be very wet as many fairways do not drain well. This last outing was nice, greens rolled well and approach shots held on green. This is a walkable course but if you ride, the carts are expensive. Most days its not too busy except Tuesday and I believe Wednesdays for morning leagues.
Village
Enjoyable round. Wide open so got around quick. Greens were firm and rolled true. Fairways were fast.
Great course - Great day
Had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed every aspect - from the friendly staff to course conditions and pace of play. Great value for the $$ and was able to take my elderly father along with me in the cart.
Fantastic time and a very special memory for me as well.
Thanks Lakeland Village - you rock!
Lakeland Village Golf Sunshine
Played Gen. 2 for the first nine. Then Gen. 3 for the back nine. Very laid back and easy going day. Not pushed or stuck waiting at all. Course is well kept. The greens were very consistent. Fun course to play.
Very enjoyable golf experience
I really like this course. The value is great - only downside this time was the soggy conditions due to too much rain. Not the course's fault! The "Hot Deals" here make this a worthwhile drive.
Great shape
For this early in the season, and with all the rain we've had, the course was in great shape. There were a few wet spots on the fairways, but the greens were cut well and dry.
Love everything about this course!!
Everytime we have been to Lakeland we have been impressed. One of our favorite courses to golf. We highly recommend trying this place out!!
Nice course.
First of all the low rating on value from the course had to do with the cart rental was quite high. We played on last minute golf special which was very cheap then got nicked on cart rental.
It is a nice course winding through houses. Spacious and well kept greens. The four star rating would be five except how wet it was. Very soggy fairways. Will be plenty dry in summer since it is up on a hill. There are 27 holes at the complex so there are three different 18 hole options. Driving range ok but can't hit anything over 200 yds or it goes in the brush. Would recommend especially when drier weather arrives.
Wet, wet, wet
Wettest October on record. Fairways were soggy in all low areas. Some damage to fairways from mowers and golf carts. Greens and tee boxes were in excellent shape for the conditions. Don't expect any roll out from your long irons or woods until late January or Early February when the rain lets up.
Still one of my favorite courses for the average to somewhat above average golfer. Challenging holes and layouts with a good variety of lengths form the tee.
Outstanding Greens!
This was my first time playing at Lakeland Village although my playing partners had been there before.
The overall course conditions were very good but the greens were excellent! They were true and fast and the best I have played on this season. In addition, the variety of the greens was equally great. There are not many flat putts out there as the greens have slope and vary in size.
Our first 9 was a bit slow due to ladies tournament but we still finished under 2.5 hours. The second 9 was wide open and we were done in under 2 hours.
We had a great time and I look forward to playing the course again!
18 holes for $30 including cart...Wow
Greens were in excellent shape. Due to recent rain there were soft spots in the fairways. Can't beat this price for 18 holes. Staff very friendly and helpful, they even let us tee off early.
Love Lakeland Village!
I love playing Lakeland, it is such a fun, challanging layout, and they work so hard to keep it in great comdition.
lakeland 2 and 3
Only gripe was going from hole to hole on both nines. needs better signage for first time players or a stripe on the cart path. Seems geared to the residents and not the travel golfer.
Worth the drive
Played here for the first time today based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. The course is definitely walkable - without anyone in front of me, I got through Gen II and Gen III in just over 3 hours. As one reviewer stated, there is a lack of signage directing you to some of the holes - Nothing that a glance at the back of the scorecard couldn't fix, however. As someone that is just getting back into golf, I found the experience humbling, but I enjoyed every minute of it!
Course was in great shape, and the greens rolled true. Well worth the drive from Gig Harbor. I'm looking forward to playing the course again!
