Lake Land Village Golf Course - Generation II & III Course
About
While LakeLand Village is known for its PGA-level, 27-hole course, it is more than just a golf facility. Situated just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, the community surrounds Anderson Lake, offering three beaches with swimming areas and stunning views of Mt. Rainier to the south. It's a great option for family retreats or just a challenging round of golf. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and II that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Gen II and III golf course is arguably the most challenging combination. Strategically placed bunkers frame the undulating greens and the narrow fairways demand accuracy. Water hazards and out-of-bounds come into play throughout as well. The nines vary in level of difficulty, providing options for players of all skill levels.

Marshal Dillon where are you?
Would've been nice to have a Marshal to help regulate the pace. 5 hours is a little much. I'm looking for a job, BTW.
Waited 30 minutes for a cart
The course allowed a large group to play a scramble in front of us with some very slow players. After waiting 30 minutes to get a cart we were waiting on every hole. There were three groups at the turn, it took 30 minutes to get moving again. This was an over 5 hour round.
Long baller delight
It was great to be able to hit in very long wide fairways all afternoon. Course has many unique water features and land marks. I can’t find another course that can come close to giving you the value for the price.
Hidden Gem on the Peninsula
Found this course on Golf Now and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was welcoming and friendly. the round was $39 including a cart. Unbelievable deal!! Friday afternoon and the course was pretty open. The only suggestion to the staff would be to post more notices to guests to fix their ball marks on the greens. I usually fixed 4 to 5 deep fresh ball marks on each green. Maybe they can give free ball mark fixers with their logo on it.
best day
Going early on a sunny day was the best…might have to do that more often:) Not really a score keeper, just out having a good time at a great course!!
Great day in Allen
The course needs some rain, good time! .. clean bunkers’
Great day!
We enjoy playing this course and plan to return again and again:)

Fairways and greens were in Great shape. All golf carts are brand new. Front desk is always friendly, played 18 on a semi busy day in Under 4 hours. I play this course 8-10 times a year.
Condition of greens
The condition of the greens is extremely variable from hole to hole
Top value when using golfnow
Tee boxes were ok. Fairways good. Rough good. Sand traps ok. Greens top notch. They were soft enough to hold approach shots. They were fast and very true. 10 of 10 on greens.
Great dry condition course.
Course is a great dry weather course, soggy in wet weather, doesn't drain well. Mid-week deals are outstanding as not many golfers are there making pace awesome. Finished in under 4 hours.
Lakeland Village Monday
Greens were fast with undulations and hole locations wet mostly on slopes. Fairways were beautiful green grass. Golf cart path could use some repairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only driving range I have seen where you hit balls into the lake.
