About
Auburn Golf Course sprawls across the rolling hills that run alongside the Green River. Originally built in 1948, the course was bought by city of Auburn, Wash. in 1968. The course has gone through major renovations in recent years including the reconstruction of nine fairways, 15 greens, and 17 tee boxes. The layout sprawls across more than 150 acres of lush hillsides, offering scenic views throughout. The golf course has a classic design with 20 bunkers strategically placed throughout as well as two ponds and a waterfall that come into play. Though you will face a variety of different lies that to the undulating landscape, there aren't any blind shots to contend with. Auburn Golf Course combines challenging elements with playability, making it a course that appeals to players of all skill levels.

the course is in great shape
The course is nicer than some courses that charge more, great value and it is well marshaled so you finish on time.
Greens were in GREAT shape.
There were some dry spots on the course but overall the course was in excellent condition.

We had a good time, it was a beautiful course. We played with a coupleo f regulars there, and enjoyed thier company.
A little know gem
I took a friend of mine from Tacoma to the course with me, and he had no idea that this beautiful course existed and it was only 1/2 hour from his home.
This course has a few signature holes
The marshals are friendly and helpful the course was maintained well and there are some berry challenging holes from the blue tees
Very slow play
There were several groups of 5 in front of me. I played 3 holes in 1:15, which is a 7 hour pace. I left after 3 holes and will never return.
A fun course
I always have a good time playing this course. It is well maintained and very pretty. I especially like the hilly back 9 although play backs up on hole 14, a par 3, and continues slow through 15, which is a downhill blind hole, and then 16 which is a water-feature par 3. Play would probably be a half-hour faster without this triple slowdown. Not a problem if you're not in a hurry.

nice course with some great surprises and challenging shots
nice course and in very good shape. the remodel done in the last 3 years has made the course challenging. great new club house built about 4 years ago and the staff was very welcoming and our tee time was on schedule. i would play this course anytime.

This is a good course for a reasonable price. It is in good shape and the greens are consistent. Pace of play was great.
slow slow slow
Pathetic to tee off at 6:30 and play a 5 hour round. What a joke. They were sending people off both sides. Will never play here again

Course could use ball washers at tee boxes. Also, a portapotty now and then. The rough between adjacentys fairways should be higher, to punish driving inaccuracies. But all that is nitpicking because I liked the course.
new building, excelent conditioned course
i have played auburn many times over the years and sometimes it was very shoddy. not this time a new building for the pro shop a nd restaurant was beautiful and the course was very well conditioned. i have played there for more than 30 years and it never impressed me like it did yesterday.
Like the "not too narrow" fairways
I always enjoy playing at Auburn. Signature hole par 3 is challenging but fun!

Friendly staff, well-maintained, great value
If you are OK with a near five hour round you will consider this course a great value. The course was in good condition. The greens rolled nicely. If I ever get out that way I again I might leave my driver in the trunk. But I would definitely play it again. Well done.

Fun to play, the front and back nine are like playing two different courses.
Really nice course. You get warmed up on the front nine, then the back makes you elevate your play.
