About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Riverbend has fairly straight fairways and well-cared lawns, Great course with moderate green fees.

Unfair review
Difficult to rate the course due the fact that it rained as we played and the greens had recently been aeriated

I made reservations through golf now. The was no warning that the greens had been sanded. Putting green horrible.

First time from Spokane
Average Muni course with side by side design which is understandable in a metro area. Great value compared to other area courses though.

Value
With Taxes and fees we paid $63 for a Hot Deal. People walking into the pro shop were being charged $44. Not cool!

Crowded
Even for a Labor day, i couldn't have imagined how many players were cramped within the back 9...but still enjoyed one of my best rounds!

Dreadful pace of play
I was unable to complete 18 before sunset. 4:30pm tee time, completed 13 holes in 3 hrs 40 minutes. Marshals were no where to be found. I will never play twilight at Riverbend ever again.

Local course
The course was in good shape this past weekend. They finally started running the refreshments cart out on the course which is a big improvement. Overall the course do need some additional improvements like many of the tee boxes are not level and are all choppy. It’s a city owned course and a little attention to details would really help.

Slow Day
We teed off at 1:40 and it was a 5 hour and 25 minute round. We had a 5 some in front of us, but they were playing a best ball so they kept up with the group in front of them. Greens were in good shape but some of the tee boxes were hard to find some grass to tee up in. It was the slowest round I have ever played there.

The course was flat. Makes a great walking course. Good pace. Although we had to let twosome play through.
