Golfer Reviews
Great course
Had a great time playing the course, layout was great, play with foursome and we got done under 4hrs, it would been faster but we had group in front of us that little slower, but it all good.
Fun course
Course was in great shape, greens rolled nicely, pace of play was good, some unique and challenging holes. Will come back again
Mint Vallet
Excellent course in the middle of nowhere. We drove over 1 hour from Portland just to play it. Look forward to the next time
Mint Valley Always ready!!
Mint Valley golf course in Longview, WA is always in good shape and ready to be played!! It has a good variety of holes and can be walked or with a cart. The greens are well taken care of and it's a beautiful course. We love playing at Mint Valley.
Fun Course......but
First of all, great deal for 18 hole course. Found it fun to play with a few holes with a tight fairway but otherwise was up to the challenge. Scored a 95(lol) today which is awesome for myself being a 3 Mrs year player. Ok, so myself and father in law was our first time playing here. Pro Shop staff was firnesly and was able to let us go early being our tee time at 11:30 as we arrived to check in early with hopes they would let us play early. We checked in to starter on 1 as allowed to, and because of the whole COVID-19 going on she was without concern to just go ahead and pair us with ransoms which would be great if this pandemic distance requirement wasn’t involved. She had said to us that we would pair with the other 2-some to play with but with my concern for our health especially my father in law who is in his early 70’s and the whole distance thing going on, I argued letting her know that we would only play as our pair. She at first was arguing no but with the humble person the other random pair were, they said that it would be ok and they understood why we didn’t want to pair up as 4. Anyways, that was our first obstacle, so thank you to those 2 gentlemen. Second obstacle was the fact that we had 2 ahead in front of us taking their sweet time playing as if they were trying to make the cut for the PGA tour it seems. Course marshal would reduce around and caught up with them and ya but had not said anything as far as pace of olay rules should be in effect. Truth is, today was fun still but if only course marshal staff would be more tentative to how other golfers pace of play. Golf edicate I guess would be the term. Again, great course and very fun. Regardless, we do find ourselves playing there again soon.
Best value in PNW
I’ve played MVGC over 100 times in the last two years. The value is unbeatable, the fairways are in amazing condition, greens play true, staff is great and for $25 on a week day with a cart and sleeve of balls, you can’t beat it.
Hidden Gem
Beautiful and challenging course. Sand traps were hard to avoid. I will definitely be back to play this course again.
Challenging shorter course
Challenging shorter course excellent condition definitely plays to layup zones. A little slow but it was a weekend and expected.
Pace of Play
Tee time was delayed and first nine holes took 2:15 mins which for length of course is poor
This is partly due to the class of golfer playing in the 2 groups ahead
As they appeared to have no idea of golf etiquette
Great time had by all. Greens were in great shape and rolling swift. Played 18 in just under 4 hrs. So pace was great.
